Figured out it is an exploit involving the surrender pose and dropping items at the same time. I've heard that it's going to be fixed in next update but haven't heard anything confirmed about a fix.

I thought the point is to pave the way for the future, so backward compatibility should be secondary. Also to consider is that the "default" generators sampling floats from 0 to 1 in modern programming languages are also execluding 1: random.random() in Python, Math.random() in Java, Random.NextDouble() in C#, etc.

It does seem like it could be related. At the same time, I am very certain I tested this in some 1.3.x version and API was still better at setting helicopter fuel tanks on fire than tracers.

i have the same issue and my friends too. we tried to find steps to reproduce and understand at what point and why it happens, but it always happens at a random moment. you are right, the only guess is that it is a long session when some technical processes fail, for example a crash due to lack of allocated memory or something like that.

Unfortunately, they won't bring back the old inventory. However, there are a lot of people like you and me, a lot of players I talk to, who say that the capacity of the new inventory is just terrible.
I think they will continue to do what they did before and no one will do anything to them. However, just in case, I will sign up for this ticket, in case a miracle happens.

I am having the same issue, except I don't have a dell computer. I tried all above what they tried and nothing seems to work and I also tried changing ports on workbench and in blender to see if I can try a different port but still nothing. It doesnt seem like its detecting workbench at all.

Use Math.RandomFloat(0, 1) instead to obtain the behaviour you mention

The trigger controls have variable sensitivity, so if you pull the right trigger slightly, you will operate the anti torque settings, but a full pull will fire your weapons. I couldn’t fly using the updated settings, so used to have to switch to legacy when flying. I’ve now changed the key binds for the collective, pitch and roll to those of the legacy controls and it’s much easier now.
Problem appears fixed after 1.4, at least the sensitivity. Never noticed a sound loop issue.
After further testing, the reason the segfault occurs seems to be when a custom scene sets a custom fog value, i.e. in a modded DayZIntroScene:
This issue is fixed by cycling the action to eject a shell, then inserting a new shell. the visual bug goes away. This bug reoccurs after logging out and back in. When cycling the weapon as mentioned, that shell goes missing. Not in inventory, not on the ground. Did this twice on two play sessions. So there is more to this bug than the visual aspect. You can actually loose items in game due to it. Bug should be escalated.

In some mysterious way, they accidentally find things hidden in the bushes, find cars in the woods several times in a row, it's not even funny anymore...
and it happen again, we watch their stream and play with this duo to cat mouse game, when we run to them, they see as though woods, when we logout they turn around and run away, same was happened like 3-4 times, and after this we rush to them and they killed us... guys it cannot be coincidence or luck.
I have viderecording and record of hes stream... please do something.
