Hi,

if a fire barrel is chilly (especially when it is inside a truck and you can't even see its contents) there might still be the leftovers of the fire glowing inside - damaging/ruining everything you put into it.
While the barrel is in a truck, you can't see that it is still burning.

tldr: a fire barrel that is still glowing can't be chilly!
