With the changes in the new update requiring a squad leader to be a certain rank to command AI mortars I think the ability to directly change a players rank in game master is needed. To my understanding the main point of experimental is to test out unfinished systems in order to find issues and bugs before introducing them to the main game, as it stands my ability to test the mortar AI at the moment is massively compromised by the rank requirement. An easy solution for this and other similar issues that may occur in future is to make the GM or admin able to directly change player rank in a gamemaster game.

If there is a way to promote players rank in GM please feel free to disregard this but ive searched through all the admin and gamemaster screens aswell as searched online and have yet to find it. With the new rank requirement for commanding AI to fire the mortar on an area it has made any testing I wished to do with the AI mortar a massive headache. I am a fan of the change and think its a step in the right direction but it makes testing the limits of both the mortar system itself and the AI almost impossible in gamemaster. Id be happy for any advice as to how to increase rank quickly in a hosted game master game as at the moment it is far too much of a roadblock for me to test and find limitations and bugs with the system as is.
