The answer to your question is not a simple yes or no.

Increasing RAM capacity to 12-16GB + replacing HDD into SSD (480GB) would significantly improve the overall performance in video games with massive amount of textures as your OS will swap pages less often and when it does then much higher SSD performance will significantly speed swapping process as the page file will be on SSD.

Is your FPS rate improves after a while or is it stays at 20FPS? If it rises - almost positive that it is due to lack of RAM and constant swapping pages between the RAM and the page file and if the FPS does not rise after a while then probably too high video settings for your GPU.

At current stage of development the game is far from optimized. Mine Intel i5-4690 + 8GB DDR3 1600 + Gainward Phoenix GS GTX1060 6GB with 240GB SSD Kingston Savage (550MB/s read) are not enough to maintain constant 60FPS+ on max levels, I had to lower some options to assure smooth game play at decent FPS rate.

Lower some details and go for more RAM. Also remove some bloatware and background services to increase free RAM.

Is the page file only on a SSD drive or do you have also HDD and the page file is there as well? When in game, open the Task Manager and in Performance tab see the value of "Free". If it is close to 0 and less than 250MB then your OS will be swapping pages constantly and if a page file is on HDD then relocate it to SSD to increase transfer rate between page file and RAM.

This also is the case for vehicle damage set to "´Main rotor (helicopter)". Anti-torque works, main rotor does not. A3 Version 1.88.145285

Hi Geez, yes I did do a clean install of the latest driver for my graphics card and for my mouse Logitech G402. I've also tried other mice and games and they're all working fine.
I'm also not starting DayZ in one of the beta versions. The stress test won't even let me start and experimental doesn't seem to make a difference.
I'd be glad to hear more suggestions though because I would love to play again.

Need more loot ,fresh spawns are easy targets to sqauds of fully geared players kill us without a fight need much more gun ,ammo spawnsin every house should have a basic firearm

The base location was between devils castle and the north side of the airfield , my original base is still there you can visit on server ......491 you cant miss it, its huge. It is empy because we moved to server .....440. And lost everything in 440. Including our barrels generator tents and all loot. Im probably going to play still but the game definately has lots of issues. this particular one is in my opinion, the most important issue at hand,nevermind being thrown 100 meters in the air when you swing an axe at zombies near your car, or when your car glitches from gorka to berenzino with a random player appearing right next to the car all within 5 seconds. Ididnt mind when the game glitched th car to crash , about 3 minutes into my first car ride . I can spend another three days collecting these car parts for that awesome three minuite drive next christmas because i need to work in real life and will not have that much extra time on my hands.
