Description

Arma 3 keeps crashing on me shortly after starting up, giving me the error message 0xC0000005 - ACCESS_VIOLATION.

I have tried all of the the suggestions here, and the problem persists.

For several days, it just repeatedly crashed, no matter what I did. Single player - crashed. Logging into a server for multiplayer - crashed.

The only thing that seemed to help a bit was when I switched from using wi-fi to ethernet. That seemed to eliminate the crashing. At least when I was playing single player. But then, after several session so of single player with no crashes on different days, I finally decided to try logging into a server again to see if I could play multiplayer and...it crashed again within 5 minutes of starting the mission.

I started receiving this error today, I did not play the last couple of days so I do not know which specific day it started for me. I can no longer play ARMA3 for more than ~5-20 seconds.

@Shellite - Hello. The 0xC0000005 - ACCESS_VIOLATION is a very general error it can be triggered by a lot of different issues. Your dumps are different than those of pheenixx meaning the issue might be somewhere else. Please create your own ticket with a description when the crash occurs and upload the report there.
