Is this unfixable?

I have never touched that profile folder parameter before. Now it had the marker on the box and I took it off and tried to launch the game and now it works as it should. Thank you!

It seems the problem is with the launcher. I can start the game directly by using the arma3.exe or by using A3 launcher..

@Astaroth you should try and see if having russian letters in your windows username contains problems when moving the cache.ch to the new location, my friend had this problem and in the logs it spammed waiting for cache_lock to be available so he just overwrote it with -profiles=

To me the game works only setting the "-profiles=test" thing.
Otherwise is unplayable{F835774}

Error came when i started the game via Play button from Launcher which is running as admin. And renaming didnt work. It didnt even regenerate the directory. This is so annoying. Arma 3 is maybe the only game what i like to play and now it doesn't work :(

I don't see anything suspicious in logs.
What happens if you start game via Play button from Launcher which is running as admin?
Do you connect to modded server or vanilla server?
Do you use some parameters?

Yes i am. I launch it as administrator and then i select server where i want to go and the error pops up.

It should work as well. Are you sure that you run Arma 3 Launcher as administrator?

It works when i play arma.exe as administrator ,but not when i run launcher as administrator and select a server

Do you have your Arma 3 profile in c:\Users\ or in another folder?

Yeah still not working after the update...

At different vehicles first person sound broke and video frozen and everything stuck - cant leave the game,back to menu - nothing work,some time it going 5 -20 minutes,until somebody shut down the engine (forgot to tell - all that happened only when the engine work - doesn't matter witch vehicle in use) but at 3rd person everything Ok. The problem is not all servers support 3rd person view ...

I had this issue this after noon. This morning the game was fine till i fired it back up this afternoon and then it would crash as soon as i press play. please fix

I am also having this issue. I was not having this problem yesterday, and i played ArmA 3 quite normaly. But today, i can't do it because of this "loading core configs" issue. I hope bohemia interactive will fix it soon. Meanwhile, we can try on playing some older versions of the game (wich i believe, don't have those issues). If you bought arma 3 by the steam store (such as i did), you can right click on the game's shortcut inside your steam's game library and then select "properties", and then "betas" then, search on the internet for the code of a recent, but not very recent arma 3 update. Once you have the code you can simply insert the code in the "beta acces code" space, then hit "check code". That way, ArmA 3 should downgrade back to the version referent to the code. i'm gonna do it myself right now and see if it works. You can try it yourself as well. I Hope i helped.

it's caused by special characters in profile name. We are working on fix. I am sorry for troubles.
"-profiles=test" means that game will launch with profile test, you can use every other word without special characters instead of test.

The game does not start. When you click to play in the launcher, the game hangs on "loading core config". The game was completely deleted and reinstalled from Steam. What should I do to make the game work?

What's happening?
I have same problem too!!!

It happens on all of the official servers, whenever they get to a later stage of the game.
When both teams go for backcapping(Getting all the zones in the back side of the warfare) the game tends to run for a long time which sometimes can be for half a day even. I'd estimate about 2-4 hours in the game is when it starts to happen.
This might just be the server not being able to handle that many assets and etc but even if this is the case there should be added extra checks to the ordering system, cause people can abuse it. The developers did not anticipate what could go wrong if the server couldn't handle it well. And if it is the server performance then i recommend cleaning out the AAF units left over from captured sectors as i have seen quite a few left overs.
Oh and if i remember correctly the 32 player servers were a little bit worse than the 64 player servers when it came to this assuming due to the AIs actually playing and using up 10 AIs each.

Since version 1.90 all commands related to addWaypoint not working as intended after initial 2-15 iterations. Aditional waypoints are not generated or AI stopping movement before reaching current waypoint or stopping at waypoint.
It is not related to obstacles. It is happening in open field as well.
Tested on missions that used to work well (before update 1.90) - problem exist.
Tested on developement versions 1.9+ - problem exist.
Tested with mods altering AI behaviour as well as on vanila Arma 3 with no mods - problem exists in both cases.
After altered movement to _myUnit moveTo getPos _placeToGo; - problem still exist yet is much more difficult to spot.
I was trying to bypass this problem and after 2 weeks of work I found no solution.

@BlackShot could possibly be a Nvidia or Windows 10 problem then I guess.

Tried to Resume the VTOL showcase just now (from the last autosave prior to the crash), and it crashed again just moments into the mission, while approaching the area of the downed pilot. New report attached.

hey, idk if that fixed something but it seems to be all right now.
first of all I did downgrade graphics driver and uninstalled last windows updates, but arma was still crashing so I connected to the last server I played (exile dayz) with that A3launcher (not original one) and it suddenly worked fine and after that, I can normally connect to any server and with original arma launcher.
