All good. I tested the M14 and for it being .308 it is extremely weak against pretty much all forms of armor, so my thought it should be sort of like a side grade to the LAR to make up for how little damage it does (30 when someone is wearing a plate)

The idea of spawning close to your friends is great. I was never a fan of having to walk endlessly to find each other. This just needs tweaking. Please do not revert back to the old system.

I can confirm this. I think it's an issue with collision and it seems to have gotten worse over the last updates. Getting pushed by zombies/players/doors into or against walls, strafing along a wall, having the playermodel squeezed in tight spaces between objects (e.g. between car wrecks), etc. can all result in this bouncing around motion. I can hardly play a session or watch a stream without seeing this happening.
Nah I defintely disagree. Suppressors in DayZ are extremely strong. Being able to suppress a 20round, semi auto .308 weapon is just too much. The balance of these weapons is that they are very strong, but also very loud. Making them very strong and silent is just way too much

I'm not a big fan of the changes to the spawn system either. Not really sure who exactly benefits from it, apart from spawnkillers who now get their potential victims served on a golden platter. I was fine with the "old" spawn system and i would be fine if players could choose their spawn location/area along the coast to meet up with their friends or whatever. But being forced to deal (to more or less extent) with all the other players spawning in the same location does not feel right to me.

Maybe reduce the amount that can spawn in that bubble before it changes I'd limit it to 3-5 people and have it change every 3 minutes obviously that's just a suggestion my feedback is that like others have said it's very chaotic. Maybe spread out the spawns a bit more spawning players at different t ends of the Same spawn town rather than all at the same spot on the beach. O had it yesterday I spawned in and as I was eating my fruit a player spawned in and t posed next to me for a few seconds I managed to ko him before he had a chance to react which is hardly fair.

I also think the new spawn system is a major miss. I've logged in from Livonia to Chernarus on official (fully geared) and the game spawned me next to 3 other people in the middle of nowhere.. we were approximately 100m from each other. 2 were freshies and one guy was as geared as me. It feels very broken.
I am also having this issue happen. Even on the other side of the building while im walking on the hill i have it happen.
Still getting this error on ALL Official AU and SG Experimental Servers.
Two Community servers are allowing me to load in intermittently but after a restart it may throw up the Connecting Failed 20009 error. Sometimes I'm able to switch between the two community servers from in game server browser, but then I cannot switch back to the previous one without the error.
Becuase first every buddy get herself then meet each other at a point. I think the respawners playing this game wrong, and not change the game because of it.
Same issue as above posters. either 20009 or 10001. Community servers have not been a issue, just official. Can you kill my character and see if having a fresh homie solves it? i would rather play then not.

That's always been that way. Any object with a door will animate when you join.

If somebody play on a low pop server he don't wanna run into lot of peoples. This spawn system is a bullshit.
I would love to have more realistic nights on my server.
But with how it is now,
you eighter have a night setup that is so bright that it doesnt matter that the moon is making the night darker
or
you have a night setup that is so dark that you wont even see a thing... so again that it doesnt matter if the moon is making it darker.
This still happens in version 1.23 (EXP).
cannot join any official EXP servers. Of note, I created a local LAN server and connect to it on LAN, but not public IP. I've created many servers, so this should be no different.

I feel like this is a good change for low pop servers where it is harder to run into people but on high pop servers it could be a problem. I assume it can be turned off in server options though for community servers. I would like more information provided on how it exactly works.
I saw this happen with a zombie and a tree, when punching the zombie its body was going into the tree. That has never happened before this update.

Not had any luck what so ever joining any EXP server (official or community) since 1.23 dropped. 0x00020009 error or 0x00010001 every time.

The nights look fantastic. Full moon night looks almost like it does in real life.. I'm super happy with 1.23 light changes..

This is because COM has not updated the spawn locations for EXP. Not an issue with the EXP build.
