The need for this expanded functionality is when loadouts have changed during a mission with scripting, and those loadouts need to be read after the changes, for example when opening a loadout manager that works inside a running mission.
Thank you Leopard for voicing some of us content creator's needs and requests here and on the Discord Channel. If this gets implemented the new features/gameplay improvements we could bring to Arma 3 are indeed many! And while there are a number of scripted solutions for this, none is both precise and/or performance friendly enough for large scale multiplayer.

Currently when in Eden triggers are shown as a volume and I presume this feature is by scaling primitive models as found in \a3\3den\objects\ where you can see...

Uploaded the packed and unpacked version of the mission. It's the simplest possible test case with just a single unit and a picture from another mission I've played. It shows no picture in the single player scenarios section and it shows an error when selected on a dedicated server. The picture does however show up properly on a listen server started from in game.
