Hi snipe and thanks for the report. This is something we are aware of (#5169) - please be patient.
Regards,
Andy
Hi daYoFrUiN,
please try the workaround provided here http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/203970-resolution-problems-read-here-before-posting/ and let me know if it worked.
Regards,
Andy
Hi,
this should be fixed after the next patch.

Hi kemephis and sorry to hear about your trouble.
Would it be possible to launch Steam as an Administrator and then verify the data again?
Please let me know if it helped.
Thank you,
Andy
Fixed internally and should be fixed on Steam soon.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the report, obeewn!
This has been confirmed and is now scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Andy
Hi Darcion and thanks for the report.
We are aware of this as it has been reported before and it should be fixed soon.

Andy
Has been fixed internally, will be fixed on Steam after the next update.

:)
Thanks NiMeRi for giving us your feedback!
Thank you for your report, Zyryanoff! The issue has been scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Andy
This has been fixed internally and will be fixed on Steam soon.
Thanks again,
Andy
Hey Zyryanoff and thank you for your report!
As mist3r stated, this is caused by a bug with the optic itself, which always appears pristine (#19200). Other optics which work in this regard will have their damaged textures shown properly when held in hands.
Thanks,
Andy
Hey vatixerid and thank you for your feedback.
This should be fixed.
Regards,
Andy
Hey quikdeath2025,
it seems like you have forgotten to water the plants :). Please try doing so and let me know if the issue persists anyway.
Thank you,
Andy
Indeed, thanks Jimmy.
Hi Captain Jama and sorry to hear about your trouble.
This could have been caused by the wipe or a variety of other reasons. Sadly, this is an issue that can happen and while we are investigating it (#78), it might take some time - please be patient.
Closing this as a duplicate report of #78.
Regards,
Andy
Indeed, this is a known issue. Thank you for your report anyway, r42xer!
Happy to hear that!
Hey peglegpete,
thank you for your report!
The reason for closing that ticket was the fact that one of the reasons for this issue has been fixed, guaranteed. Since the issue was primarily targeted at this specific reason, I decided to close it.
I agree with you about the option to add comments to closed tickets and will discuss it with our FT technical support person.
Ad this issue - we are aware of a couple possible reasons for this and are investigating how to work around them - it might take some time, as the problem here is closely linked to a multitude of general principles of server x client synchronization and similar complex mechanics.
Thanks again - love you too :).
Regards,
Andy
Is it at least any better? Would it be possible to specify in what situations this occurs?
Thank you,
Andy
Hi Tappa and thank you for your report.
Both of these issues have been reported before and are now scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Andy
Hey kieranfretwell and thank you for your report.
We were not able to reproduce this, even with the same graphics card - which Alpha to Coverage option have you been using? Also, is this even an issue anymore?
Thanks,
Andy
Hi snipertrifle and thanks for the feedback.
I have checked and while Mi8's do not spawn ridiculous amount of rare loot, they do spawn stuff and some valuables can be found at the crash sites. After a discussion with the designers, we've agreed that the current state is acceptable.
Regards,
Andy
Yup, I checked and #19242 is indeed the cause.
Thank you for your feedback anyway!
Regards,
Andy
Hi elaintahra and thank you for your report!
Sadly, this is an issue we are aware of as it has been reported quite a couple times before. We are currently looking into this - please be patient.
Regards,
Andy
Hi m3rishor,
thank you for your feedback! We are currently looking into this, please see #19973.
Regards,
Andy
Hey _M4Z_TeR and thank you for your feedback.
The rotation in inspect window is something that would take quite a lot of work to be fixed and since the bug is purely visual, it is honestly not worth the developers' time at the moment and is considered acceptable.
Thanks again,
Andy
Hi Darcion and thanks for the report.
This has been confirmed and is now scheduled for a fix.
Thanks again,
Andy
This should be fixed within the next patch - thank you for your report!
Regards,
Andy
Hi obeewnn and thank you for your report.
We are aware of this as it has been reported before and working on a fix.
Regards,
Andy
Hey Rostfrei and sorry about your trouble.
Is this still an issue? If so, please delete the contents of C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\, launch the game, reproduce the crash and attach the newly generated AppData files as a .rar to this ticket.
Thanks,
Andy
Hi eagletalon0713 and thank you for your report.
This is something we are aware of and it is semi-intended at the moment. Some related mechanics are a subject to an eventual rework, so this should go away or be taken care of differently - please be patient.
Thanks again,
Andy
Should be fixed.
Thank you for your feedback.
Regards,
Andy
Hi and thank you for your feedback!
We were not able to reproduce this (canister is unequipped when boarding a car), meaning it might have gotten fixed recently. Please feel free to submit a new ticket if you encounter this again.
Regards,
Andy
Hi obeewnn and thank you for your report.
Would it be possible to let us know if this still occurs? Everything seems to be working fine on our end.
Thanks,
Andy
Thank you for your report, SpecialJimmy! The issue is now scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Andy
Has been resolved internally, should be fixed on Steam soon.
Thank you all for your feedback!
Regards,
Andy
Hi tomtrustworthy and thanks for the feedback.
This is currently the intended behavior, Zombies' movement speed is not limited in the same way characters are.
Regards,
Andy
Hi obeewnn and sorry to hear about your trouble.
We are currently investigating this (#19480) and it should hopefully be fixed soon.
Regards,
Andy
Hi obeewnn and thank you for your feedback!
We have recently fixed a possible cause for this and I was not able to reproduce the issue again. It is however possible for this to occur as there still are a couple more possible culprits - please bear with us.
Thanks,
Andy
Hi PwnDailY and thank you for your feedback!
This is the same problem as #19480. It should be fixed soon, please let me know in the comments of #19480 if this is still a problem.
Regards,
Andz
Hey WindowsUser and sorry for the delay (holidays).
Please try doing the following:
- making sure that your drivers, especially graphics card, are up to date
- run both Steam and the game as Administrator
- verify the game data (Steam Library - Rightclick on DayZ - Properties - Local Files - Verify integrity of game cache)
- launch the game with certain parameters: Locate the .cfg file here: C:\Users\MyUser\Documents\DayZ\DayZ.cfg and open it with wordpad or similar. Change the resolution values: Resolution_W=1920 Resolution_H=1080 Change the windowed parameter: Windowed=1;
Save the changes and try launching the game.
Please let me know if either of these has helped.
Thank you,
Andy
Hi Sigmusprime and thank you for your report.
I was not able to reproduce this on the current Experimental, meaning that the issue has either gone away or it was possibly caused by desync or something similar.
Please feel free to submit a new ticket if the issue persists.
Regards,
Andy
Hi hawx62 and thank you for your report!
We are aware of this (#19433) and it has been scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Andy
Hello,
Thank you for sending us your feedback regarding this issue. Unfortunately, this problem is a known issue that has previously been reported. The devs are aware of the problem related to character save loss and they'll be working on fixing it.
Sorry to hear about your disappointment.
Closing as duplicate of #78.
Regards,
Andy
Hello,
Please let us know in the note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue on the latest Development build.
If so, please send us a dxdiag report and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"
If the *.rar is smaller than 5.000KB, you can attach it here.
In case it's larger than that, please try uploading it to a file sharing website and link it here.
For future reports please refer to the "How to guide" http://feedback.dayzgame.com/how-to-user.html
Thank you.
Hi BMAF and thank you for your report.
We are aware of the blur going away when a player opens Video settings. As for the blur itself, we were not able to reproduce the issue and everything seems to be fine on our end. Please submit a new ticket if the issue still persists.
Regards,
Andy
Hey mist3r and thank you for your feedback.
We checked the edges and while they are not exactly aesthetically pleasing, the transition between ground and water was fine - please feel free to submit another ticket if you encounter this again.
Thank you,
Andy
Yup, we have checked and both these items are spawning (they can be quite rare though).
Thank you for your feedback,
Andy
Hi CurryInAHurry and sorry to hear about your trouble.
Would it be possible to make sure you do not have Data Execution Prevention enabled for DayZ?
This can be chacked at:
Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > Performance > Settings > Data Execution Prevention
Please let me know if changing this has been of any help.
Thank you,
Andy
Hi BlazinOne and thank you for your report - we are however aware of this (#17617) and the programmers are currently tweaking the system - should hopefully be fixed soon.
Regards,
Andy
Hi Chris,
every time you launch the game, an .RPT file should be created - and when the game crashes, .bidmp and .mdmp should appear as well.
Please try reproducing the crash and then attaching the files.
Thank you,
Andy
Hi justchris and sorry to hear about your trouble.
I am going to need you to go to C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\, delete the contents of the folder, reproduce the crash again and then attach newly generated content of the AppData folder to this ticket in a .rar. Also please provide your DxDiag (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DxDiag).
Since you have already tried the most common workarounds, we'll have to take a look at the files.
Thank you,
Andy
Hi Foolee,
would it be possible to try playing in Windowed mode and letting me know if it helped?
Thank you,
Andy
Hi jmcshopes,
in Controls - Assignments - Inventory, there should be a "Gear" line right at the top - it is the key that will be used to open Inventory and it seems to be functioning correctly to me.
Would it be possible to let us know if this helped?
Thanks,
Andy
Hi insaneroy and thank you for your report.
This has been reported before and we have been looking into this (#19253).
Regards,
Andy
Hi hajo808 and thank you for your report.
We are aware of this (#17095) and looking into ways of solving the problem. While this might seem like an issue that would be easy to fix, there are a couple things making it quite complicated in our current system - please be patient.
Regards,
Andy
The inventory size of the shotgun has been tweaked and I believe you will be satisfied with the state after the next Steam update.
Thanks for the feedback again!
Regards,
Andy
Thanks for the feedback! We'll discuss this wih the designers.

Hi bszamody and thanks for the report.
As Yvan stated, this seems to behave correctly on our end. There is however a problem with the pond placement (the straight edges), which is something we have been looking into and adjusting all over the map. Please feel free to submit a new ticket with the location specified if you encounter this again.
Regards,
Andy
Hi camwhyy and thank you for your report. This is something we are aware of (#19433) and it has been scheduled for a fix.

Hi warcryr and thank you for your report!
We have checked this and the damage given is the same with and without the optic. Presumably, there was some other reason for the issue you have encountered (health status of the target, desynchronization...).
Regards,
Andy
Oh, a festive decoration indeed! We might just be keeping it there for Christmas, to celebrate the spirit of the season.. :).
It's a bug which we are aware of (#18903) and it has been scheduled for a fix.
Thank you for your report,
Andy
Hey eagletalon, in order for us to be able to analyze a crash, we need your AppData files (http://feedback.dayzgame.com/how-to-user.html) - please submit a new ticket with these attached.

Andy
Hi shayboe,
thanks a lot for keeping us updated! Really appreciated.
It is indeed possible that this is caused by alt+tabbing or using the Steam overlay, please feel free to let us know if you believe there is a connection.
I'd also like you to check this with a different mouse/keyboard, if possible.
Another thing you can try is disabling macros in case you are using some.
The issue is indeed something quite unusual - we will see what can be done.
Regards,
Andy
Hi Spudz, thank you for the report and sorry about your trouble!
Since there is a newer revision on Steam now, would it be possible to let me know if the crashing has ceased?
If not, please delete the AppData folder, reproduce the crash and then attach the newly generated files to the ticket again.
Thanks,
Andy
Hi Isidoor and thank you for your report.
We are already aware of this (#20639). The issue here is, as valdark has stated, that the disconnecting character will disembark the vehicle, getting killed in the process if the truck is moving. We are currently looking into ways of preventing this.
Thanks again,
Andy
Hi f1v3 and thank you for your report.
We are aware of this and a fix has been scheduled.

Thank you,
Andy
Hi Happydude69 and sorry to hear about your trouble.
The culprit here is the same as with #19057 - the programmers will be looking into it today. Please feel free to monitor the ticket for further updates.

What exactly does that mean? Are the crashes occurring again?
Thanks,
