When lighting a flare in the chat box a message comes up along the lines of ItemColor or something similar to that.

Additional Information

Have only done this in hardcore servers and not sure if same thing happens with the glow-sticks.

We are however aware of this (#17898) and a fix has been scheduled. Not quite the highest priority, but it should get fixed eventually.
