Just as the title says I get a black screen until graphics settings are changed. This happens regardless of time of day in the server. The inventory UI is still viewable as are other menus and the hot bar. This usually occurs when I join a server but it is not consistent.

Steps To Reproduce
Connect to any server. Once the game loads the bug will pop up. Changing graphics settings sometimes eliminates the problem.

Sure I will give it a go tonight. My SSD died and I have to reinstall Windows 7. To be fair I was having this problem on both HDD and SSD. I copied DayZ to the SSD to improve performance.

Just tried it, no dice. Same problem, I log on and I cannot see anything, Tried it in windowed mode same problem?
