The system is as simple as it can get. If you are wanting to search items because you have multiple weapon addons installed, Bohemia cannot change the UI for just that, as there are unlimited items that can be present. This should be a feature request.

There are actually some addons that enabling bipods and weapon resting.
PIP rendered 3D scopes would be nice, but i guess it could cause FPS drops.

The 3D scope sounds great and i have seen it in other games, but it would be great if you could disable it too. It really takes up alot of performance.

But bipods are really, really, really needed and hopefully will come with the marksman DLC.

Not sure if the ghosting bug was fixed or not.
Some time ago Darter UAV was capable of killing soldiers by ghosting trough them.
Single UAV could kill unlimited number of guys without any damages (if those guys was unarmed).

For me closing and opening doors giving UAV a big tactical advantage. Now UAV piloted by a skilled operator can check inside of the building for enemy even when doors are closed.

Sounds like a pretty bad*ss UAV to me.

Does not bother too much though if it can open doors, but dissasembling stuff sounds odd. It is not a gamebreaking bug though.^^

I think we need more bugs, this game is a parody of a game.
Just joking.

But UAV can open doors, you can try it if you want. Not sure about other things.

EDIT:
I just checking other things and i found following:

-UAV can disassemble a stationary guns and grenade launchers!!!
-UAV can push animals (even bigger ones) and players just like in BF3 ;-) This small thing behaves like a huge helicopter.

Whats next?
I wan my UAV to be able to get in vehicles, drive a car, wear a helmet (for increased protection, but it would probably make problems with lift force) inject morphine (to make enemies overdosing morphine) and drink a beer (operating drunk UAV would be more challenging and fun) ;-)

Snakes was funny, UAV can be even more.

It is most probably caused by some malfunction in the community addons. I could not tell what was wrong from the crashdumps, but since it does not happen in official data, there is also no way for us to fix it.

TheInfernalDude added a comment to T79599: Request of the Arma 2 reticle swing.

First of all, you can go and grab some high powered binoculars or if you have an access to the real scopes, get one of those. You will notice that you can't hold it perfectly without any "jumping", even if you are resting it on something. That is natural thing, and you can't avoid it unless tripod is available.
I don't say that jumping should be very "jumpy", but it should be noticeable and natural.
Arcade means that
a) it is similar to other more casual games, such as Call of Duty
b) Current reticle swing is the same in every stance position (no problems with standing or kneeled positions, really, because swinging motion is okay when you are actually holding a gun, but , but when proned, we still have the typical swinging, even though gun should be more stable). This means that reticle swing pattern is not affected by the stance, which is not natural at all.

And you use the word arcade to describe the new system. I don't get it, what's "arcade" about it and why is it a bad thing?

Goschie added a comment to T79595: Command Request: Introduce a command to get in model vehicle seat coordinates.

In all my attempts to find seat locations, the only known way is to work with global units with moveindriver.. ect. But its incredibly brute force, takes up network usage in MP, takes up needless amounts of resources, and made me cringe when I coded it. Basically, the brute force method does not work locally. The only real way of resolving this is by giving out the commands as doctorsheep said, or forcing BIS and the community to add the selection position names in config.

May 10 2016, 9:27 AM · Arma 3
DoctorSheep added a comment to T79595: Command Request: Introduce a command to get in model vehicle seat coordinates.

It seems to me like requesting it as a config issue would result in more work having to be done to add the memory points AND any models created by the community not having those points would be useless to me AND memory points added to the config are optional.

The "proxy:" locations are exactly what I'm looking for, they are guaranteed to exist, I just need a way to access them. Whether it be through selectionPosition or a command that just pulls all of the locations into an array like this ticket.

Killzone Kid, the only vehicles with memory points corresponding roughly to actual seat locations are the FFV enabled ones (added only after the FFV stage). All other vehicles lack per seat memory points and use general memory points like a single "pos cargo" for cargo seats.

It seems you are either running a smaller resolution than the minimum launcher size (891x690px) or you have your DPI set above the recommended 96dpi, making the launcher bigger (and all other elements as well).

Temporary fix: move your taskbar to a side.

Future fix: we have redesigned the launcher, making it a bit more flat, resizeable and also removed those buttons. These should solve your issue. Check the dev-branch.
