I have fixed this problem by unplugging my Logitech extreme 3D Pro joystick that I use for Arma 3. I am so happy i can finally loot people and use the arsenal again! I hope this helps someone else, as I've been very frustrated with this!

A COD style of aiming sensitivity feature wouldn't fit the dayz world. They are a completely different style of game. I don't think this would work well with dayz.

I've tried reinstalling game, deleting profile data, deleting all mods. Still happening on official servers every game. I can only pull things out of the arsenal with x button on pc

I assume at some point these will return, but will need to redo all the textures because they decided to make the different color options through rvmats instead of textures. This causes visual issues on them in certain lighting conditions. Fingers crossed it won't be much longer!

After a couple months now, the problem still consists. I’ve completely avoided playing because of it. I firmly believe the way I had reproduced it earlier in the year was due to when Xbox prompts you the game sync, where it shows it syncing game data after reinstall (it usually only happens occasionally you may not see it every time every install) I would click off and cancel it quickly, load in and it would look graphically awful. I reproduced it on experimental and this is what caused it for me, yet I was able to quickly uninstall and reinstall and it fixed it. But my base game doesn’t have an “earlier game save” selection feature to access, so it’s now stuck this way. Very oddly specific bug, but it’s ruined my and other’s experiences. I hope this can be reproduced or solved by the end of the year. Nothing will fix it, it also seems to be account specific.

Yeah this is one might work itself out in the future, but i feel we still need QoL changes. Older players like to make fun of these guys. Often referred to (affectionately) as; Rambo's, Couches, Loot bugs, Free gear delivery, and other more colorful names from the old internet. You do see some of those veteran players running cost efficient kits and often if i loot someone who looks like he knows what he's doing i often take more caution compared to to the Loot kits. I also love to see a good loot bug if I'm honest. No better feeling then looting an expensive kit as a default Mobik. Getting a M60 as SU, or a RPG as US holds significant value.
