We have not found any extra server restarts, these that are unwanted are just server crashes.
Is the player progress not being saved the whole time or only when the "unexpected" restart happens?
Unfortunately there are no dump files we can go off.

I can confirm. This issue is the same for me sapphire 6950x, in forests big open areas 80*% gpu usage, in fights, cities etc it sits between 40/60 usage, and makes it feel like huge input lag. Unplayable
That means unless you have people constantly manning bases (there is alot of them), you will loose them.
And you only have theoretical 64 ppl at best, while defending AI is hardly a challange.
This will only create alot of base back and forth
Take lose, take lose, take, defend, lose another one
A simple can't spawn when there are x players within x meters of the spawn point is the way to go. it is simple, it has no downside, it makes sense.
These long capture times when you build anything, coupled with time and cost of respawn (10sup, so even stock base warrants 50 respawns), makes it impossible to cap bases.
So strategy to hold the base atm is:
- Take key points,
- Build as much as you can on them
- Have 2-3 players (defenders respawn) and try to do at least 1 for 1 trade, there is plenty of time to interrupt the timer
- By the time your spawn protection wears off, you already get enough supplies back to respawn again.
- This will stop any attack
This is replacing a bad system, with another system that is equally bad, if not worse.

Thank you! It works while the pilotcamera is active. Is there a possibility of it working while the player is not in the pilotcamera view?
That is, the value returned by getPilotCameraOpticsMode updates, but the pip cameras do no update until the player goes into the camera.
setTurretOpticsMode does update immediately in pip.

Full reboot same issue with return results. Even though it seems the MyVar assignment seems to be working now.
Ok, something weird is definitely happening. Because now the code IS executing but still not returning anything. I haven't done a reboot or anything. Just restarted Arma 3 (which I had restarted several times when I discovered my issue). I have no proof of yesterday when it wouldn't set MyVar nor return anything... I wish I had taken screenshots. But here is proof today that I cannot return a value which was half my issue yesterday.
@Geez I was able to reproduce it in a way but it was a bit different. When having a fire in the fireplace while the server is in a restarting state, the fire will despawn and continue to make the sound of the fire.

This issue is caused by the MedicalAttention mod and in such case there is nothing we can do as the mod creator has to fix the mod on their end. You can try to verify your game data through Steam or unsubscribe from the mod and try to re-download it again in case something did not update properly.

I also just realized I logged back in to a different building than I logged out in
i get at least 10 tickets per day with players wondering why there dying in 80 percent of fights to this lag issue,. they think its the servers but really its something you guys need to fix. There is no point releasing 1.23 without a fix for this. the players don't want fluffy clouds that the modders already did or an m14 they already got 5 years ago they want to not die in pvp to this lag issue effecting all servers. cant wait for your response on this.

I cannot mod and release new features without being harassed by my players to "fix the lag" instead. Thousands of players are experiencing this constant lag on servers with high amounts of pvp interactions.
This needs to be the highest priority by the programming team and needs to be fixed ASAP, I agree heavily with OP that 1.23 should not be released without this fix.
