I noticed that the USSR doesn't seem to have a lightweight carbine on the roadmap of assets on the way as compared to the US who are getting the M16A2 carbine. (M727). For the upcoming crewman kits for both sides, my suggestion would be for an AKS-74u to be added to round out the weapon classes for the USSR. I'm not too sure of doctrine at the time but the combat medic could also be equipped with it to save weight in compensation of his medical gear? It would also fit for the GREENFOR FIA side as well.

Each faction would then have:

• Sidearm (M9 & PMM)
• Carbine (M16A2 Carbine & AKS-74u)
• Rifle (M16A2 & AK74)
• Rifle w/ grenade launcher (M16A2 M203 & AK74 GP25)
• Automatic rifle (M249 SAW & RPK-74)
• Medium machinegun (M60 & PKM)
• Designated marksmen rifle/sniper rifle (M14 & SVD)
