I think it also depends on the flight stick you are using. I have an expensive $400 TM Warthog/Stick and a very bottom of the table $30 TM T.Flight Hotas X. I had more joy (control although still not as it should be) with the T.Flight.

This worked for me : Goto your arma directory, right click on arma3_x64 for 64 bit or arma3, and click properties. Goto compatibility, and click the "run compatibility troubleshooter" and just reset your settings, test the program, and fixed! At least for me.

Are there any further updates to this issue? Can confirm it only happens on Fall Creators Update for me, I've kept rolling back windows 10 but it force updates every week so it gets old after a while.

Download from Steam workshop is managed by Steam client itself and it downloads the files to the drive where the game is installed and as game developers, we can't change that. Arma 3 Launcher can only affect mod location for legacy Steam mods (as noted in the dialog).

I suspect that you were testing the jets on the ground and of course when the jets are on the ground they will have lights on before and during take off. That is normal behavior even for jets in real life. They do not take off with lights off that would be too dangerous. After they gain altitude they turn the lights off.

that Marid does while Kamysh doesn't
that Gorgon does while Mora doesn't
that jets do while helicopters don't

You are right, the default behavior was "Aware", but why then vehicles like jets and Cessnas had their collision lights ON with behavior "Aware"?

You are right, the default behavior was "Aware", but why then vehicles like Quadbikes, Prawlers, Quilins, Hunters, Ifrits, Striders, Marshall, Marid, Gorgon, HEMTTs, Zamaks, jets, Cessnas etc. had their headlights ON with behavior "Aware"?

I tried the combat pace as you called it and I see no difference in speed when my weapon is lowered and when it is up. Perhaps a video of what exactly you mean is in order.

AI uses headlights according to its set Behavior. The AI will not use headlights in certain vehicles when its behavior is set to Aware, Combat or Stealth(As it wouldn't make much sense). AI will use headlights when behavior is set to Safe or Careless.
