Description

I literally cant even play the game, my game keeps crashing due to this problem
0xC0000005 - ACCESS_VIOLATION bad module info.
I tried everything, disabling fullscreen opt', playing on 32 bit, EVERYTHING that is written in the wiki page, creating a reg' key to disable the Win10 Game Mode, and nothing works.
I understand that loads of players have it for a pretty long time now, does someone has a magic fix? BI? I expect from a game that I paid for to at least run.
P.S I know that it all started because of the Fall Creator Update and I cant revert to an older version. I am very close to moving over to Linux because of it

Hey friend i may have a fix that didn't work for me but maybe it will work for you.
Go to C-User-Yourusername once you're in that folder type in the bar %APPDATA% Check the bar, you will be in roaming folder, just back to Appdata. In that folder find Arma 3 and A3 Launcher. Change their name to Arma 3 - copy and A3 Launcher - copy. Some people said it fixed their problem. Hope you'll have good result.

There is another way to fix it. Go in your steam. (The app not the folder) Click right on arma3 propieties, launching option and type in ----> -nologs , when you open arma 3 launcher select 32 bits in parameter and you should aswell see the -nologs in command line. seems to have fixed it for me.

Hello.

Thank you for the report. Could you please send us your Arma report? Here is how to do that. just please send us you files without the -noLogs parameter otherwise we won't see what was going on your computer before the crash occured.

Hmm I see only one useful dump otherwise it seems that it is a normal Status Access Violation. Could you please trigger the crash and send the report again?

Thank you.

PS: Also from your description the crash occurs when you launch the game? Or does it happen when you are doing something specific in the game? I also see that you have mods enabled. Does the crash occur even without the mods?

The crash usually occurs when I started running in a server and sometimes when my character spawns.
The crash occurs also when I dont use any mods, I uploaded the crash log while playing vanilla.

Tried playing windowed mod, didnt work

This Fix worked for me, its important to create a key that fits to your system type (64bit/32bit)
Win10 Game Mode crashes Arma 3
I hope this fix saves other people from going through this headache.

Interesting, thank you for letting us know I will pass on the information.

This worked for me : Goto your arma directory, right click on arma3_x64 for 64 bit or arma3, and click properties. Goto compatibility, and click the "run compatibility troubleshooter" and just reset your settings, test the program, and fixed! At least for me.

Switching memory allocator to the default windows one (bad performance) seems to clear the error, but it keeps popping up after I switch back after some time.
