The sniping above 450-500m in dayz is pointless right now, the guy is right, no oneshot. But I think .308 is perfectly balanced right now, cause you can kill a plate-less person with a single shot to body within 300m. Back in Arma2 Dayz mod we had M107, you always knew that you only need to land one shot and you're good. Sometimes (few times) there were insane shots from 1500m, if there were global chat on the serve, whole server applauded to it. In the same time M107 was extremely rare, could be found only on helicrashes, and those were only 3 or even less on the whole server (not like right now), so that was very exiting to find that weapon. If something like that would be present on vanilla servers, that would be amazing. If you'll put only 1 or 2 rifles like that in a spawn table (plus add hard limit for 2 units max no matter on player, or in the stash, or on the base) - that will be awesome. That guy is right on the money you know, long range sniping is suffering very much right now. But if you'll decide to just crank .308 damage up, better don't do that, leave that as it is then, 'cause just cranking up is the easiest way, yes, but it will ruin balance on the mid ranges, .308 will be overpowered in 300-600m range

Guys, I want you all to understand, YES, there are cheaters, and YES, sometimes there are moments when they will kill you over and over few times in a row, take all your stuff, even the underground stashes, I DO understand you, been there SO MANY TIMES. But even devs will do something, smart pants cheat creators will make new patch for a few days anyway, and will just rise the proce from 75 to 85$ for example, it won't solve the problem. BUT if the devs will start to spend some amount of their time on anticheat improvment, they won't release some other good things that they could release (extra weapon/asset/car or some cool feature). So in the end we'll still have cheaters and less updates. Again, I DO understand you and been there before (and sometimes still there), but keep this in mind. BattleEye is a guy with closed eyes and ears, but still, when you reporting there add printsceen of a players list. Few those screens and some cheater will be banned. And to the devs: ingame report is a nice option, will be very helpful, but please make it simple for you, like it would create something like a ticket in discord and will send it to BY server, don't put mich time in that, cheaters will be always. When I was killed by them so many times at one moment I thought "screw it, I'm buying a cheat", but I did not, 'cause it would mean that theye're won, and still I'm playing on the official servers as I did before. Thurns out Dayz is so amazing, that even cheaters can't kill it. Hell, every time I travel on Livonia I just stop and making screenshots, even on mid/low settings the sunrises/sunsets are SO BEAUTIFUL, and it's considering the fact that you have not the best "sgtgrafoyni" sky. Enfusion truly did the miracle. And I saw the screens of nature on a new Enfusion, that is even better. One day Dayz 2 will be a legendary game, same as STALKER 2 right now.

Hey man, sorry to hear that, been through that sooooooooo many times. I'd suggest you after you get killed, respawn, shift+tab, steam window will pop up, press "see players list on current server" or something like that, it will show all the players that are on the server right now. Yes, it might be 40+ or more, but still, printscreen all those nicknames and send to battleye, it will narrow the task. Yes, your single report won't do much, it if more people start act like that, in the end we will definitely reach for some result.

Hey Geez, I'm stupid, Just re read the M16s description, which says "lacks of optics support, but has remarkable firepower", whis is logical (longer barrel + 1.0x multiplier against 0.9x in M4A1). I like and respect that approach, actually it is one of many little things that I like Dayz for so much (it has to be real, have a purpouse, reason, like IRL). So acog+vanilla M16 is not an option. But you can still make M16A4 (which is one of the M16 variants) with the piccatini rail therefore ability to attach scopes. That already will be low top tier marksman rifle (still not top like SVD, you should fill that gap with some .308 marksman, 'cause "western" side of dayz weapons has no similar to SVD variants right now). Make new M16A4 only 10-20% of vanilla M16 spawn amount, that will prevent the wide spread of a weapon, you can also place it only inside the bunker on 3rd lvl, same as AUG right now. M16A4 with acog looks really nice, plus again, you'll only have to replace top receiver, but I'm sure you have it as a alt option in vanilla M16 3d model blueprint. And ofc hoping you'll add M249(or PKP pecheneg)/RPG-7 in 2023.

And I know that you applied initSpeedMultiplier = 1 for M16 and only 0.9 for m4, which is ok, 'cause M16 has longer barrel. It's very nice that you pay attention to such small but vital details, +rep for that

PSS. When I say "no additional hard work required" I understand how hard sometimes your work can be, so I say that with all the respect, and I only say it 'cause I tried it all the way myself (importing into the game, experementing with SMDI, damage levels, LODS). It took like 4 hours for me, but most of the time I was experimenting with SMDI and making distance lods

I meant that stamina will reduce 10/20/30% slower when you'll have required mileage. As you can see I'm 2 dayz 4 hours but still only 909km, so that would be only ~9% for me right now. Including the fact that not that much players will reach 1000km, and even less 2000 and 3000 km, that won't affect on a general gameplay, but would be a nice little bonus (tip) for a long survivors. If you afraid of balace ruined try to run around in platecarrier and with one weapon, that 40% of stamina will drain very very fast, plus the new inertia effect. So yea, at least think about it.

What a nice community you have, it not only tells you about bugs, it is also says how to fix them). I like all those guys. They all love the game as much as I do. Even if sometimes people ask about crazy things which seems to be hard to do - don't just turn those away. I know what it's like to have a LOT of work, and the new one keeps coming, so there's almost no time for bringing the things that you personally like, or just would like to bring in the game. But sometimes you have to just cut some amount of time, or few small amounts and do that thing, 'cause otherwise you won't make it, or will make it but it will be too late. See, I didn't even know that most of "unreleased" content was removed because you've changed the enfusion engine before. A month ago after you released video of 1.19 trailer making people statted to speak about possible enfusion engine version update or even a full swap. Now I know that it won't happen, otherwise you'll be thrown back to 2013-15 or so. But there is no need in that, even now this game even on low settings gives you such a magnificent views, like sunsets/sunrises. I have 1.5GB of sreenshots only, you've created a really great game.

Careful with livonia KolGaz ladder near Nadbor. Sometimes the character doesn't make a step to the side to leave the ladder and land on the ground, but just goes back down and falls, death from the fall as a result

P.S. Tim, the Producer, the helicopter can close Hannas story somehow, the "Great Ecape" or something like that. It doesn't mean you need to bring it in the end when you'll be done with any further updates, you always can start a new story, just like you starting a new life in Dayz everytime. So yea, think about it. (and produce me some M249 for chicken sake! just kidding (nope, deadly serious)). Take care man, was a nice stream, best survivor so far.

Yep, it could be OK when you climbing up the big hill, but often when you drive off the road to the side, and road is on a little highness compared to the rest of terrain, plus when there are only thick woods on the sides, and the only option is to go back on the road (or stuck in the woods) it can be a nightmare sometimes.

+ on moving forward optics proxy, noticed that too. Hide barrel is a matter of taste, some rifles in dayz have it, some not, doesn't bothers me. Also scout has non-working ironsights, those should fold when player attaches any optic. Mostly noticeble when attach M68 scope.

@Geez I think you can close this task. As a matter of fact on the server where I play (official one) it is a constant spawn point, so convoy is always there. You can farm cards from the med officer by the way (just kill one, run 600m away untill dead despawn, come back and try your luck again). So, since it is always there, probably first people just loot it, and then loot won't spawn again (that's how I think, but I may be wrong). Probably this is temporary that it is constant (for the time of event), but you should make it random, because right now it's very easy to find (farm) a card, even though you can't reach 3rd lvl of bunker alone, but still, lvls 1 and 2 provides pretty nice loot for solo players.

@ItzMikeDocherty. I know Mike, but the reason I ended up on official after ~5000 hours of game is because admins on those "private" servers sometimes are worst than cheaters. And don't call them "hackers", those at least can "hack" something, these are only able to "mom, can I borrow your credit card?"

I feel your pain prother, let all your veteran characters rest in piece. I don't know how much BattleEye workers get, but cheat creators ask 5-15$ per day (!!!! only one day), and up to 75$ per month. So if you like money (at least just a little), and more/less able to code, you'll do everything possible to improve your cheat every 2-5 days so it would stay undetectable. Plus, if there are like 10 guys who will buy month subscription, it equals 750$ per month, not bad, ha? But I'm pretty sure there are a lot more than 10 ppl, so you can imagine how passionate are those guys with protecting their income. Ofc it's sad when some noob for couple of bucks can say "hey man, your 8000h means s#*t to me, heck, even walls mean s#*t to me". But yeah, lately it's at least once a week.

They are aware. You shoud read changelog more observantly. Half of the issues you posted are in there. Hood is unopenable because there are no engine textures (hopefully temporary). There's also no textures behind the wheels (on M1025).
