M1025 Feature Request.
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

Hey guys, been testing M1025 recently (still has trunk springs problem, but I'm sure you are aware, just a reminder). So, I noticed that under the hood M1025 has place for 2 batteries. Actually, it was a great idea, I think you should get back to it. Yes, it is harder to find and carry 2 batteries, but M1025 is not a simple civ vehicle. Just return the bulletproof glass (eats only 1st bullet), and 2 batteries will be an equal trade for the extra armor. I know some people may not want it, but I would say it won't ruin the balance and will stick to the story, I can only speak for myself, I would love that feature with 2 batteries (yes, some extra script work, but I think it won't cause a lot of troubles).

The other thing is that M1025 has a ventilator under the hood, however it is static. To animate it, you only need to edit model.cfg (anim of rotation), and a memory LOD inside p3d (add spin axis, 2 points). But you know that better than me. I mean. it takes only less than 10 min, but the look of the spinning ventilator - it is priceless (I know it is a very small detail, but believe me, those details are defines perfect stuff from just good stuff ).

You probably have a lot of work and readings, but since it is holidays soon, I want to tell you a story that happened to me few hours ago just to cheer you up, or I don't know, you can decide for yourself. So, I was in a Gliniska AF toxic zone, I'm in the big hangar with medical tents. One of the infected agroed on me, it was too late to use my MK.II, but I used it anyway, 3 bullets, ofc he reached me, made 2 hits until I finished him, 1 cut and pants/jacket are damaged. So, I bandaged myself, and forgot that you can't repair the suit just in the toxic area. So, I'm taking my NBC jacket to the hands.... all black.... my electricity went off... I went to sleep, and only in bed I realized that you can't repair NBC inside toxic (well, I always knew that, but it was high adrenaline situation, so)... Few hours later: I'm logging in, the situation is: I have my NBC hood in my hands, 2 cuts (from the toxic zone apparently), I hear a zombie agroed on someone... Turned out that guy just passed the place where I was, so a few seconds sooner, and I would probably meet him. I managed to bandage myself, fixed my suit, even looted some leftovers. (There were only 2 of us on the server, classic Dayz, the fewer the people the bigger chance to meet)

Anyway, the point is that near death situations like this - those gives you insane emotions. That is what I like DayZ for. I don't always like your decisions, and sometimes being rough with you, but huge thanks for creating such a masterpiece, for keeping updating it, bringing new objects, features, places. Every update to me is like a birthday, so it's pretty cool to have 4-6 birthdays per year. Don't be grumpy and bring some M249 in 2023 (or at least alike machine gun, so the rest of the guys could take an animation out of it, and make M249 anyway), so then I'll be able to beg/cry/whine about RPG and the Legend of the DayZ Himself (UH-1U). So yea guyz, happy holidays, meet you in 1.20 . Take care.

P.S. Tim, the Producer, the helicopter can close Hannas story somehow, the "Great Ecape" or something like that. It doesn't mean you need to bring it in the end when you'll be done with any further updates, you always can start a new story, just like you starting a new life in Dayz everytime. So yea, think about it. (and produce me some M249 for chicken sake! just kidding (nope, deadly serious)). Take care man, was a nice stream, best survivor so far.
