There is no way to cheat on GFN because of their restrictions. Shadow is in fact the same like any other PC. You can't run progresses "undercover". So if someone cheats on Shadow, he/she could get detected like any other Cheater on any PC. This is stupid, when they really lock Cloud PC users out.

I can see why battle eye doesnt want to do VMs like aimbots can be fun because the gues runs the game and the host gets the screen plus give inputs which would be undetectable but on the other hand one could in theory also do that with a hardware box that plugs into your GPU for graphics and a USB for input.

Hey everybody just a quick update: I've tried two methods as a workaround, of which I don't know which has now been successful so perhaps it was either one of them or both in combination. What I did were basically two things: 1. Leave all the components (radiator, battery, spark plug) in the car. I tried that because I thought, perhaps for some reason the game things a car is broken and may be despawned just because it doesn't have it's core components. 2. Log off, while sitting inside the car. After doing both these things and logging back in about 12 hrs later, I spawned on top of my car, which was exactly as I had left it. Good luck and let me know if it works for you!

My squad had two working Olgas and one 4x4. After 1.03 the 4x4 would jump around at server restarts, standing in other locations when you logged back in, with some parts damaged or ruined. In the end it was destroyed and despawned. We've had no problems with the Olgas.

I am still waiting for an answer from BattlEye and Bohemian Interactive. 3 days now. Some say it get's fixed, others say it's over with BE Games and Cloud PCs. I don't know what I should believe.

Any news on this and whats happening/ going to be happening?

Honestly I don't see much point on playing heavy games on an average vserver especially since those usually aren't that great in the gpu department especially as they are usually not made for gaming but rather being servers hosting stuff like websites or whatever.

2 things:

1. shadow is not supposed to be used like a server, they explicitly forbid that.
2. to save on hardware they use server hardware capable of running multiple people, and run a few VMs with the users' Systems on one of those, and Geforce now acts similarly.
   
   Mac Running boot camp SHOULD not really be a problem, as there is no emulation. a mac ever since they use intel CPUs is just like a normal PC except it uses macOS. using bootcamp for windows is comparable to having a PC dualboot with Windows and Linux.
   
   having windows run on your Mac via Virtualbox or Parallels Desktop on the other Hand, would be a VM and therefore trigger the problem.
   
   regarding using private servers, it would depend on what type of server you rent. a vServer (v for Virtual) would obviously also be virtual, while on the other hand a dedicated means you have the whole server for yourself which SHOULD mean you have no VM.

I just bought a GeForce Now Key to test DayZ on it. You can't even install DayZ on GeForce Now anymore and it's still listed at the supported games. GeForce Now users, who already have installed DayZ, also get the same error with "Failed to install BattlEye service". I don't know if a Windows Update could GFN affect in the same way like Shadow. In fact Shadow isn't a real VM, but gets detected as a VM from various programs. But it was no problem until now.

GeForce Now Users are also locked out since 2 days. So this is a real problem now.

I am having the same problem and Yes I am using a Shadow PC. I'm not a tech wizard but why should it make a difference whether it's a virtual machine or not?

Sure you can do something. Just switch to another Cheat protection engine. BattlEye is the worse.

I experienced the same thing, did all of the above methods, didn’t work. I’ve playing dayz for more than 100hrs on my current set up. It’s windows 10, and seems like only when I switch to stress test, the battleye will start to work.

A modder who is making a mod that creates random events could broadcast to all listening RCON clients of the server that an event is happening. Some server owners would like to have RCON notifications of those modded events happening in game and this would allow that.

Are you also using some kind of Virtual Machine to run the game by any chance?

Yes I removed 2 locations. Reinstalled all, Dayz, Windows, Steam. In administrator mode and nothing else to do.
By cons I just installed PUBG and no worries Battleye installs no problem...
