was crouching when i noticed it.

I have noticed a ton of facial hair bugs on different characters; not sure what makes any of them unique.
-when its fixed, it would also be really cool if you could shave in different unique ways. i'm sure it'd be ridiculous but some players would love it!

Yes this problem is also found in the stable version. You can remove this by cutting the beard only way to remove it.
