in 1.02, i was able to quickly switch to my sidearm or primary weapon by pressing the corresponding number key. that is not possible now. and i am pissed off about that.

for example, when my primary weapon jams ( very likely considering how easy they break ), i would switch to my sidearm. my sidearm is my backup. if i can not quickly equip the backup, things go south very fast. i do not want things to go south. but this game really likes to make things go south.

reloading a bloody weapon is already painful enough ( i miss the good old "r to reload" ) and now this? i am not sure if this situation was meant to be this way. i do not care. i hate it either way. so i would appreciate it if it becomes possible again to switch to another item on the quick bar BY PRESSING THE CORRESPONDING BUTTON.

right now, if my primary weapon jams, i have to press the button for shouldering that weapon, i have to WAIT for that animation to be done, and then i can equip my secondary weapon. the time that takes to complete can make the difference between staying alive or a respawn on the coast.
