Also what is hosted dedicated server? There are 2 types of servers, player hosted, you can start it from main menu, in which case you are hosting server, or dedicated, which runs on its own on dedicated machine. Which is it?

Add: It even happens when you had a weapon in your hands and put it in your backpack, it will start spawning tracers out of your head and keep spraying.
I can also relate to this problem since the 2.08 update.

Same here, red chain, loosing connection on mission start.
I figured out the server steam update is not updating to 2.08.149044 but only updates to 2.08.148892
On our dedicated server about 90% of missions that were all playable last week, are since the 2.08 update unplayable; as in after about 3 to 4 minutes into the mission all players lose connection at the same time. The dedicated server does not appear to have crashed & is still running, but players have to disconnect & re connect to try a different mission.
Is there crash report generated?
You can download legacy 2.06 from steam and see if the problem exists to help to debug the cause

Just so you know this fix is tied with and wasn’t possible without adding persistent fire mode first, hence it took so long

Hello, sounds like your pc has trouble running the game.
Have you tried setting videosetting to Auto detect? that way the game should be optimized for your pc.
@TRAGER this is a different issue you are talking about, the fix stopped weapon from insta reloading from the inventory. Technically it is possible to extend it for the containers but this is quite a game changer and I need to consult on this, but my gut feeling tells me it is unlikely to happen

that script doesn't work
it checks if projectile is still alive one frame after it was triggered (btw you can use diag_frameNo instead) but, most projectiles trigger only on next cycle.
And some projectiles just stay alive after getting triggered, like smoke grenades or flares.
Also its amazing how many asserts your test code is triggering...

Though it its still very much recommended to use 64-bit instead. We don't provide full support for 32bit anymore (which is why we didn't notice this before release)
