This still happens in the 1.06.152858 (10.12.2019) build, although seemingly much less. In two hours of playing on the DE experimental server, the event recorded below was the only time it happened, at around 18:30 CET.

Hello -The-Desire-.
The issue is related to the mods you are running and modded Mission of the server.

Thank you for the report Mom.

Hello smokinbob.
You are attempting to run the game on a GPU that is below the minimum requirements listed on DayZ Steam Store page and therefore you are attempting to run the game on unsupported hardware. Playing the game on such hardware will manifest in compatibility and stability issues, and unfortunately there is nothing we can do as the hardware is not sufficient.
The comparison between your current GPU and the GPU listed as minimum can be found here: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-770M-vs-Nvidia-GTX-760/m7724vs2159

@Diiixn Was the radiator filled with water?
@Geez OUTDATED
@Geez RESOLVED/INTENDED @roysmajky The radiator is in the game for a reason. It's a vital part of how a car functions. The radiators job, is to cool the engine, thus your battery didn't run out of juice, but your engine was ruined due to overheating. This is intended behaviour. When a car is ruined, it is despawned upon server restart. For your next car, attach a radiator and fill it up. I would however not encourage you to invest the time and effort before this major bug T139497 is fixed.

@logstudent1988 Did you turn off the engine after the accident?

Dunno mate. It was a year ago 😆
@NewSamuel Can you exclude the possibility that it was stolen?
@Beav Was the radiator filled up? To my knowledge, the radiatior needs to be filled around 70-100%, otherwise the cooling will fail, resulting in a ruined engine after driving for a bit.
@Geez OUTDATED/RESOLVED
@Geez I believe this can be CLOSED as radiators can only be properly filled when attached to the loop. If the option to fill the radiatior at a well is still in (I haven't checked) I would suggest removing that, but this ticket is OBSOLETE.

Hello jamaicarso.
You are running the game on a GPU that is below the minimum requirements listed on the DayZ Steam store page and therefore you are using GPU that is not supported. Using non supported hardware can result in compatibility and stability issues and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee stability on insufficient hardware.
The comparison between GPU that is listed as Minimum and your current GPU can be found here: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-Quadro-1000M-vs-Nvidia-GTX-760/m7836vs2159
