Hello,
this error is caused on the graphic card while rendering Launcher window. Please try to update your graphic card drivers. If that doesn't help, go to Options / Launcher Options and check "Disable Launcher's UI hardware acceleration".

Thank you for the crashdumps, will look into them immendiately.
Were you playing solo or in coop with other people? If you were playing coop, were you playing on official or unofficial servers or did you host the game on your machine?
Any piece of info you are able to remember and might seem relevant will help.
It's not the mission which is causing it because when I add drawingInMap = 0; to my server.cfg I can't draw lines on the map when running the mission. So map eventhandler was nothing more than a guess :)
Maybe caused by adding a draw eventhandler to the map?
I have encountered the same problem in 1.62.
Two of the custom mission files I can reproduce this issue on are: co40 Domination! Blufor (co40_domination_3_45_blufor.tanoa) by Xeno and GunGame-Tanoa by OPTiX.
I double checked my server.cfg settings and the startup parameters in the BAT file. They are definitely correct, but players can still draw lines on the map.
Well, i tested it further and now its even tasks built in editor using the modules. SO yea my game is broken and i have no idea why... :(
So did more testing on the latest DEV build as of today. I tried the following and still same affect:
I have also attempted to use the server browser on another internet connection as to avoid issues associated to firewalls but even on a separate network, the same servers are still not visible in the server browser.
An example of a server that is not visible in the server browser: 149.202.31.21:2302
An example of a server that is visible in the server browser: 192.223.29.245:2312

Reducing the currently unrealistically good signal to noise/contrast for FLIR would:
- make it less over powered
- make it more realistic
I found a solution.
- Game start
- Come into the menu the user - user Arma3
- Create the new user - PLAYER 1 . Save.
- Single game \Company \Apex - to play, stop game. Come into the menu the user, to replace the user of PLAYER 1 with the main user Arma3. Save, close game.
- Come in the conductor - C:\Users\nickname\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\PLAYER%201\Saved\steam\meta copy the cacheItems.map.
- Come in the conductor - C:\Users\nickname\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\user Arma3\Saved\steam\meta to insert the file cacheItems.map.
In the menu of game, your profile, again there is an Apex company.
Still happening
I did a verify integrity and it showed no issues. I don't play except on that one server. I think others have reported the same problem so this might be a duplicate to be merged with another bug report.
Yeah. I also liked that feature for zoomed scopes. I really got annoyed as I found out that in the release version of Apex, it was gone.
I just tested it again with disabling all mods - it seems it has something to do with one of them.
Withouth mods enabled, it works!
Hey Razazel,
Game version: 1.62.137494
Problems aren't present on Arma3ApexDev 1.62.137494
Close the ticket. Thanks.
Updated :)
Correct you are, the issue was indeed caused by version mismatch.

Hello,
it seems that you're missing at least one of the files that Launcher needs to start. Please let Steam client verify the game files and re-download the missing or corrupted ones:
tested it now to confirm, seems to work just fine (wiki info seems to be a bit off), it should work just fine. Please make sure that you are loading the correct server cfg file that has it disabled.
could you please take a screenshot of this issue or describe more specifically what seems to be the problem?
Thanks for testing. The weird thing is that this is happening on two different PCs. I'll have to look more closely at the logs and profile then because I also was running vanilla. Stumped...
