Removing serverbrowser_hist.vdf does solve the issue, but when you first told me to remove this file, the constant low fps started happening again the next day or so (not really sure how long it took honestly).
I deleted the file again and haven't been able to make the server browser drop fps yet. When or if it does happen, I'll let you know. I'll make a shadowplay recording to see if there's anything specific I could've done to make it lag, though I'm not sure what could cause it. I spent 5 minutes now trying different filters and re-launching the game a couple of times, but the fps is still fine as of now.

It's happening again. Sometimes after leaving the server browser I'll still be getting 3 fps, for example if I'm in server queue or on the main menu.

Yes, both should be identical.

I assume you have a bad GPU and a good CPU. Including your specs would be helpful.
But, try this:

• In DayZ.cfg, make sure Render W and Render_H are set to your monitor's resolution. If they aren't, change them to whatever your monitor's resolution is, save the file and then make it read-only.

You don't need to. Both experimental and stable are on the same build, meaning you can join both stable and experimental servers. They have different hives though.

Post your steam profile if you want them to move you out of the building.

It doesn't support DX11. You need to upgrade your GPU.
DX11 has always been a system requirement on the Steam page FYI.

It would be helpful if you included your GPU. Most likely it isn't DX11 compatible.

Check your search filters. Make sure "show passworded only" is disabled.

AK74 - folding buttstock, AK handguard rail, suppressor. I'm not sure if I had a scope, but if I did - it was either a PSO-1 or PSO-1-1
