Hello Azeh and thank you for the report.
Can you try the following and let us know if it has any effect on the issue?

1)Go to the steam directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

  1. Go to the userdata folder
  2. There are folders (or one folder) with numbers in their name
  3. These folders should contain folder named "7"
  4. Open the 7 folder and in it find a folder called "remote"
  5. Open the remote folder and delete serverbrowser_hist.vdf
  6. Do this for all the "7" folders (only applies if you have more than one number folder (step 3))

Regards,
Geez

Hello Azeh.
We are glad to hear that the issue has been resolved. In that case I am going to close the ticket, but feel free to submit another one in case you run into any issues with the game in the future.
Regards,
Geez

@Geez
It's happening again. Sometimes after leaving the server browser I'll still be getting 3 fps, for example if I'm in server queue or on the main menu.

Hello Azeh.
Have you tried to remove the serverbroswer_hist.vdf again if it has any effect on the issue? Also, we are working on optimising the server history so it no longer causes issues with fps drops in the menu.
Regards,
Geez

Removing serverbrowser_hist.vdf does solve the issue, but when you first told me to remove this file, the constant low fps started happening again the next day or so (not really sure how long it took honestly).
I deleted the file again and haven't been able to make the server browser drop fps yet. When or if it does happen, I'll let you know. I'll make a shadowplay recording to see if there's anything specific I could've done to make it lag, though I'm not sure what could cause it. I spent 5 minutes now trying different filters and re-launching the game a couple of times, but the fps is still fine as of now.

Thank you Azeh.
As I have mentioned above, we are working on improving the saving of the server history so this issue does not occur in the future. However, currently there are no estimates on when the improvements will be done and therefore we suggest you to remove the serverbrowser_hist.vdf file as a workaround (if the issue occurs again) until the improvements are in the game.

Geez
