Hello,

we are sorry you are experiencing issues with our game.

Are you running any mods? If so please try to disable them. Should the problem occur again, please export your game log files from the launcher (again, without any mod).

Steps on how to export logs from ARMA 3 Launcher:

  1. Start ARMA 3 Launcher
  2. Click Options menu
  3. Drop down menu will appear
  4. Select: Prepare Arma Troubleshooting error and save those files
  5. A notification will pop up with the name of the generated file

Please note that it might take some time for files to collect.

Attach the generated files to the ticket. If the files are too big please use some free file sharing service.

No all that'll do is kill the process. My problem is that the game moves itself to background apps, therefore no window pops up for me to play the game.

Go into your task manager and stop the process, then it should work.

Also I've Noticed this today, that My Logitech 3D Pro Flight Stick the Throttle slider Keeps Jumping up and down, on the Collective up and down, while in a Helicopter. This never did this before the Apex Update.

I'm Sure Not Wasting Your's as I'm A Tech and Build System, Do Tech Supports as Well as Run Arma 2 and Arma 3 Servers. NOW You Guys Still Have Not Fixed The Memory Crashes That I Posted In Another Ticket, But I Will Not Be Treated Like some Retard with Bullshit Canned Responses that my 12 year old son know is basic info.

Hello,

had this started happening after an update? Are you experiencing this issue all the time or only during some daytime periods?

The "No Message Received..." error indicates that connection to the servers is interrupted or not stable.
Other users who have encountered this error reported they were able to fix the issue with the list of fixes ranging from switching a router for a new one, opening ports for the game and ending with issue fixing itself as it was caused only by the ISP issues.

I have added some tickets as related to the Relationships, perhaps you will find something useful there.

Please let us know should you come across a solution for this issue.

This Issue has only started since last update the Apex Update. At the same time, I've tried everything to stop getting RPT logs, I'm still getting them even if I close the game. There are issues and Should not be. I know the Team has their hand full with the Eden update, But I need to know why I'm still getting issues. I've removed every mode every game I've created in the editor as well. Still I can not figure out why I'm getting these issues. at the same Time I do not understand why My Sniping Shots are Being Traced, I'm Not a Cheater there is no reason for this. I'm really good at Sniping. It is the main reason I play Arma. I keep my Sniping shots under 1,600 Meters and I can go well over 2K with lynx or M-320. Still No Reason For the RPT files Please Investigate this issue. Now as Far as No Message Received Error, I've not Gotten one of these since I removed all mods and Game Created files from my system. The Failed to Write to Memory Issue I've only seen this now when I switch Servers with out restarting Arma 3 all together.

Could you please verify your game files via Steam?

After then, please try to run your Arma as an admin.

Please also make sure you are running latest version of the BattlEye and try and check whether this issue is present for other servers as well.

Hello,

thank you for the response. However, we cannot determine what exactly caused your game to crash. It is necessary you try to run your Arma without any mods. If the crashes still happen then, please send another crashdumps.

If the crashes stop (on Arma without mods), please try to activate mods one by one until you find out which one causes the crashes.

Mods are not official content from Bohemia Interactive and it is very likely that the CTDs you are experiencing are caused by collisions between two or more mods.

I think another similar issue is when you're coping units between missions, the Names of the units change. For example, if you named an object TEST1, and then copy that and paste it into a new scenario, it re-labels it TEST1_1 even though the same name doesn't exist.

To my understanding, civilians need 1 hit to die, but as shown in my video some bullets do hit, but not all of them, which renders your testing method ineffective.
I showed in the video it takes 4 hits to kill the enemy with the 9mm at that range, then I tried to rapid fire and it took more than 4 shots.

Not armored targets need 1-3 hits (it does matter, where you hit them) to knock them out.

Armored targets definitly need more hits. But it does matter where you hit them.

Please don't forget that rapid firing will increase the inaccuracy and you start to spray your shots. You can easily reproduce it with the tracer function (unitname spawn BIS_fnc_traceBullets).

You will start to hit the armored target in non or less lethal areas (side areas of the armor) -> you need more shots.

From my point of view and experience from the game, everything seems to work as expected.

Hello silencefiction,

that was my intention to use not armored targets to reproduce your problem. If I were able to reproduce your issue, I weren't able to kill all those poor civilians/survivors.

But I was able to hit all targets with rapid firing (I created a small bulk of civilians).

The armor is very resistant against light caliber ammunition (9mm pistol fire) and you need more hits (or just one direct hit in the face) to kill a target.

Maybe because of the armor you will get the feeling that rapid firing has no effect on the target.

I've checked the issue by myself an hour ago.

I used the civilians (no armor) and everything worked as expected:
-I was able to kill all of them with rapid firing (one till two hits).

I even used the tracer function (debug console: unitname spawn BIS_fnc_traceBullets).

Thanks for the help and sorry for not responding sooner. I had tried the first five fixes/solutions as I had seen them on another website. I didn't have any luck with them. However, a couple days latter I tired getting on again and since then have not had any issues. I'm not sure if it is fixed or how it could be fixed by my doing nothing. However, the last crash I had was the day I was attempting to fix it and it appeared not work. Since then I havent had any more crashes.

Thanks for the help. The issue seems to have resolved itself. If it crashes again in the same manner I'll try those last three solutions.

Hello,

we are sorry for the trouble you are having with the game.

This error is very generic. It may be caused by many issues, such as a hardware malfunction, a virus in the computer, but also an error in the game itself. Possible solutions:

-Try joining another server, then rejoin the previous one.
-Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version.
-Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version.
-Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs.
-Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
-Re-install DirectX.
-Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (x86 version), restart your computer and install the package again (do not use the Repair function).
-Run a Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.

Hmm, it also happened to me during mod initialisation, but I've tested it again and yes, the sorting crashes the launcher everytime.

Thank you, that's most likely caused by an error when the servers are sorted. It will be fixed for 1.56.

EDIT: Yeah, the logs confirms that that is the issue (it happens when you sort servers by number of (current) players).

Could you please try the latest Launcher arma.jiripolasek.com/files/Launcher_134350.zip ? The sorting crash is fixed in that version. If it crashes, could you please check Event Viewer for related errors under Windows Logs/Application log?

Can you please try to reproduce that issue (after you verified your game cache with Steam)? If your game will crash again, just wait a moment (so that the crashdump files can be generated) before closing everything with the task manager.

Anyways, thanks for actually fixing the misunderstandings.

Also, the reasons why I added this trivial issue, is because it can help improve performance by a tiny and minor amount. It doesn't really matter if this issue actually gets fixed or not.

Sorry, I wasn't that explicit. I really meant to say 'faces' or in other words, I meant 'Polygons' of a 3D model.

Edit:
I was trying to say that under the poles, there are unneeded 'polygons' or 'faces'. That is why I took the images from the bottom, trying to point out the bottom of the poles.

Hello, I can confirm some issue with the translucent surface of the chairback.

The translucent chairback blocks the textures of buildings. That also happens, if the office chair is outside of the building. It depends of the view angel.

I have attached a few pictures just to make sure, we are talking about the same problem.
