Issue seems fixed in 1.12 stable. Rogerx, can you double check that you are on 1.12, and check if the issue occurs when tested in the editor? If your issue isn't replicatable there, I suspect it might be related to a particular mission, or be specific to MP in some way?

I currently cannot move after entering the water from a boat with the current stable version of ARMA 3.

I have the diving gear alongside the Zafir, 45 Handgun, Carryall Backpack, etc.

I have verified after unloading everything except diving related equipment, that I can exit the boat and move/swim after entering the water.

However, when I unloaded everything onto the deck, I found I could not pickup anything from the deck (or ground) using the inventory. As such, cannot further troubleshoot this bug as it would be too time consuming within the multi-player servers.

1.11.115366 seems to solve this nicely. Can enter water from shore or boat, with any combination of pistol, rifle and no weapon, with or without a wetsuit.
I think this one can be considered resolved.

Improved. Tested in 1.11.115293. I have not been able to reproduce the issue with the rifles under that version. Now however, an identical problem arises with a standard pistol, tested only with the P07 so far. And it occurs both when disembarking and when wading into the water from shore with the pistol in hand. Problem still appears to be associated with wetsuits, as I have not identified any other uniform or lack thereof that will trigger it.

Possible patches and changelog notes associated with fix and "regression":
*1.11.115121: "Weapon remains selected for divers, it just cannot be fired (unless underwater capable)"
*1.11.115293: "Player without swimming suit doesn't get messed up when entering water with weapon"

Hi and thanks for the feedback.

The small warning conversation refers to the south entrance of the ruins, so when you approach the ruins, you should enter them from the South side, relative to them.

James as set up mines on the North side of the ruins.

Totally agree, but I think the reason why they have not added it yet is because of PhysX

Please try verifying game integrity in steam. RMB Arma 3 in your steam library, click properties, select LOCAL FILES tab then select "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE..." If there are any corrupted data this should fix them.

After steam is finished with any download that may start after verifying launch Arma without any mods.

Hello, try deleting all files in C:\Users\*user name*\Documents\Arma 3\

Deleting *profile name*.Arma3Profile, *profile name*.vars.Arma3Profile and Arma3.cfg should be enough.

Note: Deleting those files will delete all your settings and game progress, also deleting the folders will delete any and all custom missions you made in SP and MP editor and saved them, as well as all saved progress in any mission you played.

I strongly recommend to backup those folders.

Thanks Raedek, But as I have stated, I have already tried to manually delete folders ect. but nothing seemed to work, I will try it again, BUT ALL OF MY GAME DATA! COME ON!

This needs some attention.

Currently driving an 4wd off road (complete with bull bar) at 50km/h into a 750mm high wire sheep fence cripples the vehicle, while driving into a 400mm high dry stone wall at 100km/h results in no damage. Not very plausible.

I went through all weapons and the issue appears with the MX 3GL 6.5mm, Katiba GL 6.5mm, Sting 9mmm and PDW2000 together with the MRCO optics.

This MRCO texture issue is still in game. Tested the MX variants and only the 3gl has this issue.

Reports of this bug are being made every few days. I don't know how hard it is to fix this bug, but BIS should probably hurry up with fixing it.

As a workaround, one the enemy soldiers on patrol near the windmills is carrying an AA launcher, which can be used to shoot down the helicopter.

Okay here's what you need to try - get all your squad to go into STEALTH mode.

For some reason if you don't do that your NPC players will have a bad habit of wanting to shoot at the helicopter even if you put them in prone.

So STEALTH and HOLD FIRE squad options.

I did this within less tahn 50 meters of the helo landing and didn't get detected this way on both saves.

I still have the issue. I have tried North Side, South Side, hiding in forest, hiding in houses, sprinting from the landing smoke as far as I can and I always get the same.

After 3 saved game tests - the helo always has a habit of landing it's nose towards the south end.

So if you blow smoke north of you the helo will see you. Blow smoke south of you far enough AND your team is down in prone in stealth then he will not see you.

I got him to land on an explosive charge that I saved from one of the earlier missions and he was down.

Thank you for your savegame, I tried your savegame which is closely before helicopter arrive and all works fine. Helicopter landed and I touched off explosives and task was completed.

I will investigate more.

I'm also having trouble being spotted every time (only tried at night time).

Player inside a metal shed near the windmills. Subordinate AI soldiers are hiding (hold fire, stealth, prone) in forest about 500m away. Helicopter landing zone marked with red circles and temporary waypoint.

Could it be due to choosing a bad a landing site? I have had the same trouble at the flat area a bit further to the west (marked 280) also.

Also tried going prone in small house with door closed. Helicopter spots you. I even blew up the truck I drove to the site with.

FYI for anyone with the same problem, one of the CSAT near the windmills has an AA launcher you can use to take out the helicopter even when it inevitably spots you.

I too have this problem. Hid in bushes and I was the only member of my squad left. The helicopter ALWAYS spots you.

But I'm affraid it will not work for the save... I had an autoSave.Arma3Save instead and I try to delete it and replace it again to see if it was really in that file my saves were, but I after doing that, wasn't able to get my saves back again... But whatever, maybe you'll be able to do something with it.

I made multiples saves along the mission and the event is happening a few seconds after the last update (or the one before...)

Maybe it has to do, with the smoke because it's the only thing I did exactly the same everytime. I even destroyed the lamps... I hide in the house, under a bush, in the grass, in the forest under a bush... And everytime the 2 guys where lying down, holding fire and stealth.

I also have this problem. It occurs when I hide in the trees, hide in the houses, or even run as far as I can from the helicopter's line of sight. The helicopter appears to spot me whatever I do.

Are you sure, that helicopter didn't see somebody from your unit? I tried more times in Steam version and helicopter never saw me. Thank you for more info.

I also got this problem, very frustrating. Even with my team in the houses and my also in the houses, the helo spot us everytime!
PS: I had it on night, maybe it change something.
