Would the mine still detect a passing human and explode?
Slams use a magnetic influence sensor that can not be triggered by humans. They also have a passive infrared sensor that detects vehicles by sensing the change in background temperature but I am not sure if the infrared signature of a human is enough to trigger the mine, too.

The Slam is a explosively-formed penetrator anti tank mine, with has multi-mode functionality in real life (side attack, bottom attack, timed demo charge, manual detonation) and is intended to be used against light and medium vehicles, so this change is correct.
It is meant to be used against vehicles and would not be useful against infantry in reality because it's just a single projectile shot out in front of the mine. The shell apparently is made of polymer, so you might get some shrapnel wounds on exposed skin and burns when it explodes next to you, but generally it should be ineffective against Infantry, and also should not be triggered by them.

I can confirm that issue in the latest dev-branch too. I think there are some minor problems with the newly added inventory function before entering the mission (in the "team" tab).

Maybe change the summary to: "No binocular/rangefinder after previewing a mission with Shift+Enter" ...maybe it will help people like me to not post any bullshit :D

This is completely different issue.
You can't access binoculars if you shift+preview instead of just preview.
@Koala: You're starting to annoy me! You posted that on my first post, and I closed it because I trusted you. But you're telling bullisht. It's absolutely not the same.
I think this is the biggest Problem of the Game at the moment.
Mass closing ancient tickets with no activity this year; assume fixed or too trivial etc.
If this issue is still relevant in current dev build, please create a new ticket referencing this one and request for it to be re-opened.

I disovered the cause of the slowdown to be a 3rd-party program, f.lux.
Stopping f.lux caused the arma frame rates to be normal again.

Mass-closing resolved issues not updated in 10 days.
Since purchasing Arma3 yesterday night, I had 11 (eleven) PhysX3_x86.dll crashes. I am hoping that BIS is gonna correct this error with 1st priority in 24-48h.
Today balance by now: SEVEN PhysX3_x86.dll crashes in a row, each occured after 5-20min play. Onece it crashed after 2min after joning a server while I was simply standing in the base and I was turning to the right and left while changing the video settings (shadow settings).
I am just installing ARMA 2 (yes downgrading!) as the new 50 EUR Arma3 is not playable.

I agree with this. I also believe that the respawnTemplate EndMission does not work with Tickets (or at all possibly).
Yeah. Real shame to have this go to waste. I mean, obviously it took time to make/impliment the respawnTemplates. Why just push it under the rug as "one of the things we'll have to live with"? I mean, it isn't just a matter of my preference.. The templates are broken.The non-Coding gurus lose again, and only with a broken respawn/loadout system there to tease us.
Can not reproduce anymore in 1.20.
I was unable to reproduce that on any version, but the QA is going to take a closer look with different setups to be sure. Thanks a lot for letting us know.
I just tried it with the up to date dev build. Playing a Blackfood on the map and setting "Player as Gunner" exhibits the problem, pressing right mouse button or keypad 0 will zoom the view but will not switch to camera. Once you disembark and get in as gunner again, the controls work as expected.
Known issue. Also affects some land vehicles as well. It happens when you start the mission as gunner. Try hopping out and back in and it's fixed.
Still valid as of the latest Dev build. Cannot switch to Blackfoot's gunner view, making the gunner position useless for a player controlled helo.
Seriously, this needs fixing.
EDIT: Getting in and out seems to fix it. Doesn't work obviously when you start in-flight. Really needs fixing.

It seems this issue occurs when the player starts in the chopper.
True for all Vehicles that have interiors/RTT screens.
Same has been happening to me for months but if I use playwith6 to browse, i see all servers.
I am currently in Abu Dhabi and my brother in Spain. Before the last patch I can host a game and he can see me but after the patch not anymore. I try everithing I could with no luck. No addons or mods neither.
I tottally agree that in the patch something has changed relevant to server browsing.
I also switch between Gamespy and Steam and nothing happens.

This issue is still true as of 1.50... Sad that this has been going on for 2 years.
This bug is really weird as I can sometimes see all the servers and sometimes I can't. I wanted to play today and I couldn't find any servers, so I waited a min and pressed refresh and there they were. I re-launched game and they disappeared again.
This time, I'll set max ping to 1000 instead of 0 and I will report back.
correct me if i am wrong, but the lower the ping filter is it shows the lower ping servers, keep it at the maximum and refresh the server list.
if it still happends, boycott BIS, many people wanted to do it anyway since ArmA Tactics
My buddy in Ireland barely shows up when I try to connect to his server, and I'm on the East Coast of the US. He's not even that far away, and I still can't find him.
Bump, not being able to join multiplayer is a HUGE bummer for me.

Dr Death, my filter is on default; ping filter is not applied and at 0.
I also have this. I play with a friend from another country and he gets different servers showing up on his browser than me. This issue is annoying especially if you are trying to find new servers to play on.
Do you have any mods installed? Are the servers you cannot access using the dev build?
Sometimes spamming refresh a million times will show me extra servers.
No mods are installed, except for some Singleplayer and Multiplayer scenarios. As you can see in the attachment, the servers that cannot be accessed are NOT ALL Dev servers.

I can confirm what baskiney is writing. With the exception that it does not have to be linked to individual units.
But it does need to be synced to a headquarters entity and be activated with a trigger.
This module is working and this thread can be closed.
