Frame rate halves after alt-tabbing to Windows and back when in Eyefinity triple-head mode.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When running in triple-head 5760x1080 full-screen mode, then alt-tabbing to the Windows desktop and back into Arma, the frame rate drops significantly (half, in my case). The only way to get the frame rate back up is to restart Arma.

I tested in single-monitor mode, and the frame rate remains constant in this case - it only seems to be when in triple-head mode that the frame rate drops.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Set video card to 5760x1080 eyefinity mode
  2. Start Arma, set resolution to 5760x1080, full-screen.
  3. Enter editor, place man on a map, preview
  4. Go to video settings - observe frame rate (I was getting ~64fps at this point)
  5. Alt-tab back to the Windows desktop
  6. Switch back to Arma. Observe that the frame rate is now much lower (33fps, in my case).

I disovered the cause of the slowdown to be a 3rd-party program, f.lux.
Stopping f.lux caused the arma frame rates to be normal again.
