@Nate_LapT That's why you should set your client's profiles folder, my errors are from the client side, not from the server, so it shouldn't matter if it's your server or not. Appreciate the help here.

I can restart on any other official server though not with this character and cant even restart on livonia NY server as this character is there and defaults to it with said crash, soon as I try to start game and he loads onto map

When danger approached, the shooter in the humvee ran away

The bot doesn't shoot very accurately

Bots don't react at all when they're being shot at

This was on the Xbox series x

Can see all game data seems lost, be hard to have a fully geared guy with dmr, law, SVD and nv apart from all the gas gear with -2 seconds play...

I tried the bulldozer but no joy, game totally freezes up when after I launch it and character loads onto map, given this is only on that one character but been playing on same server for 2 months now so would lose all gear and stashes... No big deal but will this happen again? is what I ask myself..
Not sure how to record the bug or what files to submit or where to find them...

wasn't my servers I've seen it on.
I'll try testing on mine later after work though.

@Nate_LapT You should configure your client's profiles folder and see if the logs are related to the mentioned issue. It may be related, but it also could be something else. Appreciate the the call out 🥰

Fixed in Dev build 151869. Authors feedback would be nice since the OG video is delisted.

This is probably related, I've noticed on other servers, the first 30 seconds or so players are stuck in a desync state rubberbanding around, sometimes not able to open doors.
First time we assumed it was the normal handstate bug due to lag, then I noticed it with many other streamers over the following days as they played various other maps.

The only change I can conceive of is that my console has turned off in-between sessions. I did try that the other day with no success.

i tried all this before, I reinstalled the video card drivers with the clean installation checkbox enabled, I reinstalled the game ~5 times already, I also tried copy the documents/Dayz Exp to documents/Dayz with steam cloud off. I also cleaned the registry using the tags dayz and bohemia nothing helps me i really cant understand how this works.
I also want to clarify that the number of players on the server does not affect freezes, I checked whether the game works on official servers with less than 10 people online.
Another detail that I noticed when in the game I press esc and exit on the stable version the screen freezes on the 15 second countdown, while on the experimental branch the countdown goes as it should until the end.

Update: I looked for a link to Zesty Polvos stream from last night but he's removed it. It was such a disaster because he experienced this issue. He tried the party chat / game chat "fix", unplugging, restarting and then he gave up and ended the stream.

Both crashes are because of some clothing item, if you can give us a list of the clothing items you have, we might be able to figure it out.
Regarding the "unpleasant delays", it's really hard to tell what is meant without seeing a video

Please check your drivers for any corrupted files or installations. Also please try to do a clean install of your drivers and possibly reinstall the game.
Also delete the DayZ documents folder, disable Steam cloud sync and verify the game data through Steam.

There appears to be a new source of lag now, and I'm currently unaware of how it's being caused. This is us testing the new variables (using default settings in this clip) and there is extreme amounts of lag despite the server having 2 players on it, with over 20k server fps.

There is clearly an issue with tree fire geometry.

1. delete DayZ folder in your documents
2. download DayZ Experimental and install it.
3. Run DayZ Experimental
4. create one character
5. join any Official Server
6. after joining a server, exit the game.
7. go to your document folder again.
8. open DayZ Exp folder
9. you should see DayZ Exp.cfg
10. Rename The DayZ Exp.cfg to DayZ.cfg
11. go back to Your Document and rename DayZ Exp folder in to DayZ
12. Start DayZ after that delete DayZ Experimental.
