Since I reinstalled the game 4 months ago, it is impossible for me to drag (and drop) any object in my inventory. For example, if I want to drag a magazine from my backpack to my vest, I put my cursor on the magazine, stay press on left mouse button, try to drag, but nothing happen. It's like I never selected the object (but my cursor is really on the object).
Same problem if I want to put an optic or anything else on my gun.

Do you have any controller connected to your computer by any chance, that could cause these issues? Also what kind of mouse do you use?

My mouse is a Logitech G602, I've tried with integrated memory and software (G Hub).
I have a hotas Thrustmaster Warthog plugged to the PC too.

Ok so here is exactly what causes the issue:
Any external controller input blocks drag and drop feature.
If a controller has a switch that constantly sends an input signal, drag and drop won't work until the switch is toggled off.
Holding a button on a controller also blocks drag and drop.
Tested on latest experimental build.
Same problem here.

Edit: Mouse is a logitech G502 Hero
1 year on still happening, ive just checked with the 1.2 update, unfortunately the bug is still present :( is there anything else we can provide to help fix this issue?
Good to see that turning off all switches may work, I will test this and report back!
Just tested it, turned all my switches to the off position and verified that they were off using joytokey and boom click and drag works
