This is also happening on Playstation console, official servers. Items dropped teleport to the roof or will disappear. We lost our base lock because it disappeared after being unlocked.

This issue is related to the fact you are running Windows 7. Unfortunately we will not optimise the game further for W7 and most likely will not work on a fix for this issue as Steam will stop supporting Windows 7 completely starting January 2024 (Making you unable to play DayZ on Windows 7 anyway).

Yes, yesterday we managed to reproduce the bug, we met with a friend, passed the loot to each other, and it worked. in the screenshot I’m holding an aug, for a friend I still have an ax in my hands, I tried to shoot, only the sounds of bullets hitting were played.
I second this, story wise having more corpses, maybe with various stages of the infection, would give a more imaginative background on how the virus came to be and evolved, rendering the cities an inhabitable battlefield

Its not even the suppressor fault, its the bullet impact that drawn the zombies to that area which i think is stupid.
I dont have 2nd player to tell me if he can hear it also, but that would be a major bug then.

It's similar for all placeable objects. (tents, barrels, campfires, construction kits etc.) making underground stashes, crates or shelters for example very vulnerable to everybody who knows.
@WeirdXone Both as i have written in my reply above. My custom lighting gets also written into the configs. So offline Lighting and on the Server are the same.
This is my golf, the front door spawned as damaged and repaired, the rear is spawned as worn. I think the difference is clear. So it not resolved!

Please adjust the weight of the regular shovel then, too. It has 6kg in game now. It should be ~2kg max instead. (compare it with the actual weight of the pickaxe in game). Especially under the aspect that we can't repair the shovel with a wettingstone, like the pickaxe or farming hoe, it should be significantly lighter and/or more efficient to balance it.
the normal shovel should be repairable with a wettingstone too, of course.
Or instead, make it more efficient.

Same here, I tried everything but nothing worked.
I understand now that's how it works. "Spawning Gear Configuration" on the Wiki documentation implied to me that it was replicating the functionality from init.c that allows us to force random spawn gear while still allowing the player to choose their character model. If this new system completely overrides the character, that's fine - we'll just keep doing it through init.c. Thank you, as always.
It seems like the issue is actually worse after the stable update.
Please change this so players can enjoy their favorite characters and have server customized loadouts. It is very strange there isnt some other option.
