If you're gonna go down that rabbit hole then gloves should also absorb blood and dirt and be a breading ground for germs (more so than bare hands imo) and require removal or thorough cleaning (boil washing) before eating.

I agree with you, WeirdXone. Against melee should be very protective in general, but against bullets it should struggle even with .22, chain mail and plate on top. These new medieval armor in game are supposed to be replicas from museums or similar, so even more.

I've noticed other people from this forum and on other social media have a similar problem, even with many hours in the game without issue, then they suddenly & recently lose access to voip like this. As a relatively new player, I don't have the countless hours in DayZ to speak for this, but could this have been broken for certain players in a recent update?

Hello, it is working I can confirm that. I have been able to log in with no issue of the Alt timer hindering me.
You must tic the box and then shut down the console server for ten or more minutes. Then restart and you should be able to go in without any problem on any of your accounts. I have been working with Nitrado to get the issue fixed and as of 1300 Pacific time Thursday June 1st it is working. This is of course the Nitrado fix for this issue, and not the Bohemia proper fix to correct this issue. This will still have to be corrected by B.I. to correct the Dev side of the issue and not just the server side for consoles.

I did a lot of work tonight fixing most of the client bugs I could fix.
But unfortunately, after the update, a typical client crash occurred again, I will attach the logs of this crash, as you can see, the crash log is almost empty.

According to the devs this is on purpose due to the wreck being old and rusted.

You can reset your characters position by switching to another server that shares the same character (another official server of the same type, either first person only or 3rd person + 1st person, depending on which you are playing).

Still having this exact issue. Have abandoned the idea of using cfgweather.xml for now. Would be great if a fix could be prioritized. Weather is more important to my players than chain-mail, for example.

Sadly I can confirm that. This server was great for many months that i played here with my brother. There are 3 bases now (just a week and couple of days after 1.21 wipe). If You get close to any of those You get insta killed, or 2 shot while sprinting, no sound, no bullet crack, no shooter to be found. They are obviusly not hiding so it would be easy to take care of it.
Also 99% speed hacking and collecting stuff with ESP.

The problem is not server crashes, players end up on the desktop without an error after the patch, at random moments

While there needs to be a small update done to the logs, the devs response is that this error cannot be the source of the crash.

The issue appears to be related to the modded content and possibly it has glitched your character. You will have to request character deletion from the server admin/owner and possibly report the faulty item that bugged out your character so they can remove it from the spawns.

Since this is related due to a mod there is nothing we can do. Unfortunately we also cannot tell which mod causes this.

The main point of this post, wasn't for the people who brute force bases. Its for people who want to open their locks faster.. I had a base that had 10+ gates to get into a main room.. it takes a long time just to open all that. It would be a lot harder to bruteforce a 5 dial lock.

Although they could just add some type of speed limter on how fast you can cycle through the numbers with the scroll wheel..

Yeah thats the only down fall.. is bruteforcing would be a bit faster and people would start making scripts to do it perfrct and fast.. but that issue would be resolved if they added a 5 dial combo lock. The 3 dial needs to be removed from the game personally i think.

I like this idea. This would make raiding bases a whole lot easier and faster by brute forcing the combination :D
I don't think the devs would like this too much though...

I installed Windows 10 directly when I built this PC, so it was a clean installation. I've never had a previous version of the OS, just Win10.

@Geez The proposed fix does not address the root cause of the issue, which is not synchronization but is in fact incorrect calling of ProcessDirectDamage outside of intended conditions.
