Update, they just seem to disappear in general, buddy had all his stuff outside and it disappeared.

Server is running on Windows Server 2016 Standard

-Stuck in weapon change animation (axe change animation)
-combat knife hover in the air when you put it in the assault boots and when you put out the combat knife in your hand and change to a other object it doesnt go back in the boots but in a other free slot in your inventory.

Sewing Kit and Leather sewing kit doesn't work

I don t open Baked Beans and other by kinfe or can opener or axe

uninstalling all gpu drivers with ddu and reinstalling only the amd driver did the job. thank you for your help :)

Have you tried to completely re-install the game? If not, can you try and let us know if it has any effect on the issue you are experiencing? Also, is your computer overclocked or does it run on standard settings?

Have you checked if this could be caused due to a hardware issue on your mouse? Does the middle click work correctly in other applications? And are you able to check if you can aim down sights with another mouse?

I had this issue early this week. I turned off my Intel turbo clock and it temporarily fixed the issue. Another patch was released yesterday which has now caused it to crash again. Unfortunately the game appears to have some sort of compatabilty issues with rendering.

ok, now after i disabled all background tasks and all overlays (gamedvr, steam, relive) i was able to see the main menu for a fraction of a second, before the pc froze again. screen gone black this time, with the same glitchy sound.

Solved. The Launch Options made the difference.

i verified the game data, and even tried to reinstall the game with not success. i will try to disable any background tasks as well as windows 10 gamedvr and post my results after that.

Have you tried to verify the integrity of game files through Steam? If not, please try doing so and also try to delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder.

Can you please check if you really have unchecked the "Show static background menu" option in the launcher? As we have confirmed the issue to be caused by having the option checked and unchecking it resolves the issue. In case unchecking the option does not work for you, can you try to remove the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder, verify the integrity of game files through Steam and then check if there are no launch parameters under "Set Launch Options" in general tab when you open the DayZ properties in Steam?

I resolved this issue by re-verifying game files. One file was corrupted and redownloaded.

Likewise on all the above claims. I came here specifically to see if I was the only one, or if I needed to switch servers. I even attempted to suicide a good character thinking he might be the bug, but that didn't work.

I too am unable to interact using my knife to open cans, rip clothes, and with other objects such as axes unable to repair with duct tape or the sharpening stone.

same thing for me i try to open a can of peaches with a knife and it wont allow me to combine them

The same here , also I can not repair things, a sewing kit just put inside the things.
