rogerx updated the task description for T118716: Vortex Aircraft Explode when attempting to land upon Water.
I noticed last night while simulated flying of the vortex aircraft, merrily touching the water with the wheels caused the aircraft to explode. Likely should be a new bug, as this seems dependent only on vortex aircraft.

Yes the game is completely vanilla no mods, they aren't even installed, no parimeters either.

thank you for reporting the issue. It is now fixed in the internal version and the fix will be soon available in the development branch.

I would recommend you to download the development branch of Arma 3 because most of the server are using the dev branch and not the sneak peak version. In the development branch you will also have the Apex content and you have newer features (e.g. overhauled revive system).

Also, when I try to connect to a server running Exile Tanoa mod, the server browser lists Apex with a red circle implying that it is not installed. Steam lists it as installed.

are you sure you have created the ticket for the right game (Arma3)?
have you already verified your game cache with Steam? Sometimes a corrupt file may cause trouble like that.
this seems to be a script/mod related problem on your server.
you have missed to create some reproduction steps.
