What's wrong with using GetHourMinuteSecondUTC and GetYearMonthDay?
It just seems like your specific use case requires the randomizer to give you an actually random number.

Same issue here ( xbox), but for me it might be network related : i can join the same server with my phone sharing connection to my console. But it's laggy af, of course...

dunno if this will help or if it's even a thing, but i've been playing EXP branch a bit and 4 out of the last 5? spawns i've gotten sick pretty much instantly but this last run i changed up my routine and i've stayed healthy the entire time - i just took off running like a bat of hell to keep my temperature up after i spawned, prioritized finding any and all necessary clothing, and stayed dry pretty much the entire time, even when it started raining i made sure to stay dry by staying indoors and lighting fires, haven't been sick yet

upd. something weird happened on my side. just delete it
@Geez yesterday the 003 server for many was very difficult, teleporting too much and making iterating difficult with other players.

The issue happens on 1.12 and has happened on 1.11 as well. I have asked around if anyone has experienced on experimental yet. Will post here if anyone confirms it happening.

I agree with this full heartedly, headshots at range are no longer fatal against any form a ballistic helmet. Real life ballitic helmets are designed for fragmentation and, at best, low caliber bullets, and would not stop a direct hit from any military grade rifle round, especially the .308. It has completely changed sniping in 1.12 for the worst from the shooter perspective.
Here is a clip from 1.12 where the sound seems to behave the same way. The shots are roughly 300m away and it sounds like 50m away.
