It's random but happening to me fairly frequently. Random crash to desktop with no error when using the following so far. Sewing kit, Leather kit, Gunrepair kit, ducttape. Basically any of the repair clothing and weapon repair items.

After tinkering a little with the possibilities of CURL, I've come to realize there is a massive issue in that all incoming returned data is limited to approximately 400 characters, as all data is pulled in as a string and 400 characters seems to be the limitation of DayZ's strings (or maybe the curl implementation).

Crying about bugs does not help developers to find and fix source of problem. But when you describe situation how its happened, then they can find a problem and fix it.

@Geez Hi. I know this is a common problem associated with the inventory work. Just some of the options as it happens in the game.
With me it happened yesterday. I had one cut. In his hands was VSS, spare mags for VSS in the inventory. I was running away from zombies. Recharge the VSS -use "R" key. VSS put on his shoulder - a shortcut. Running away, I opened the inventory, took the empty mags in his hands, which would replenish ammo in the mags. But charging to the mags did not work. I put the mags back into inventory slot mags and disappeared as soon as they were placed in the slot. At the same point in time - with my shoulder disappeared VSS.

In this version i have lot of similar problem with inventory manipulatiting. It looks like some desync between client and server because relogging very often solve the issue (as workaround). But this is very annoying.

Bug report assault boots and k ife access

I recently came back to Play DayZ Standalone.
After playing varius secions of up to 8 h i am considering to stop playing again.
I Looted the intire map all the hotspots (yes i did powerloot them for Hours) and found no gear worth to Mention.
A Player playing for 8 Hours + should not have to Play with a shootgun and a mosin after looting all the hotspots on the map multiple times.
My curent character is 37 h alive looted all the hotspots up to 3 x found 4 helicrashsides and i have a Pumpgun and a Mosin.
This is not a new Problem but a chang in the looteconemy is important,
No new Player cares that the Limit of high Tier weapons for this Server is reached and no new weapons will spawn.
Weapons in Stashes and on loged out Players should not conflict with the Loot for curent Players it only leads to Frustration .
