New info!

Override of the inventoryopened is also broken in MP

player addeventhandler ["InventoryOpened", {player sidechat str ["op",time]; true}];

player is able to open inventory

In SP everything is fine.

Confirmed. Could be related to config as missing animation without weapon.

An additional way to do this (controlled by the player) would be to add the option to hold a key (such as shift) while pressing the Abort button to quit without saving. That way if you are ending a mission because you are tired of it you can choose to not save, but if you are suspending a mission because you have to go do something else, etc. you could have the game save for you.

+1 there is already separate Save option on exit menu, so at the moment it is either have "save" option and "exit+save" option or have no "save" option and "abort" without saving

suggestion:

in description.ext

saving = 0; both saving disabled
saving = 1;
both saving enabled
saving = 2; //"save" button is available but instead of "exit + save" there is abort button

This really is quite a large problem for people who drive in first person. Reversing a truck with mirrors that utterly misrepresent the area behind it is frustrating to say the least.

Thanks for reporting the issue. Seems it was fixed already some time ago and can't be reproduced in current stable version (1.50.131969).
Could you please confirm the fix?

A step-by-step repro may be handy:

  1. Equip yourself with a backpack containing some items. Have also some items in the uniform.
  2. Stand near a crate, that contains another backpack.
  3. Open inventory and select the uniform tab.
  4. Put your backpack on the ground.
  5. Take a backpack from the crate - as soon as it is taken, some items disappear from your uniform (seems a bug lowered its capacity).

Hello, the message appears only when the active Steam account gains ownership of some A3 related content (Steam let the game know that the ownership has changed). It's possible that it's caused by the glitch on Steam backend (we already had similar situation with internal version).

I've added some additional logging to Rpt file so we should have more information what is causing the message to appear. If this happen again, could you please put the Rpt file here, thank you.

Quick update, noticed i now have two DLC bundle entries in my expansions menu, one hovered over displays the 'purchase' text, one doesn't. Haven't bought the DLC bundle or had it gifted to me.

@Deathlyrage Can you please provide repro steps? I'm unable to reproduce this issue when executing the command only where a unit is local, I see no duplication of magazines.

Yeah it seems to be happening randomly that the effect isn't global and sometimes it is. This is even given the server enough time to sync / process the command.

Replacing all my addMagazine commands with addMagazineGlobal result in mass duplication of items and creating invalid combinations of items in inventories. I remember having this problem with addMagazineGlobal in the past. When i call it once on the client, the item duplicates by the number of people on the server. I'm going to have to stick with addMagazine for the time being.

This also happends randomly when i call addMagazineGlobal on the server once for a remote argument, the item duplicates by the number of people on the server.

@neokikka I can confirm what Deathlyrage is saying about addMagazineGlobal dupes. I was testing it with 1 HC and 1 player on dedi and it was adding 2 mags instead of one. I guess with just 1 client on dedi you will not see duplication

I believe the best result would be fixing addMagazine so it's effects are global when used on a local argument, as per Arma 2 functionality. This prevents spamming of global commands over the network in a forEach loop for example.

But this is exactly how it is now after second testing, only for some reason it failed the first time I tested. Need more feedback.

I have retested this again and for some reason addMagazine effect appears to be global again, that is few hours later. Reverted changes to BIKI, changing to feedback, this needs more investigation.

Thanks for pointing this out with addMagazine and I've corrected BIKI description https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/addMagazine. As for addMagazineCargo, it is supposed to have local effect, which is correctly documented on BIKI.

Let me know if this is satisfactory so I can resolve this ticket.
