i have this same bug. no lights in the city/airfield, no light from the light house.
i can confirm this
i agree with this ticket. if i choose to have harder difficulty options than the server, i should be allowed to use my settings instead
alternatively, make doors always open away from the player (unrealistic, but more convenient in CQB)

Potplanty, what you describe can be easily reproduced by having music playing in the background (winamp, win media player etc.) while flying an AH-9 and firing the minigun. Your music will be "overpowered" by the huge amount of weapon sounds (due to the minigun's firing rate) and be played at a lower volume.

TakeOn has a menu where u can move around the stuff on your HUD, why not Arma 3?
