I agree with you guys, but think they made acog x6 max only bacause of an ammo. 7.62x54 (same as .308) is only good within ~500m, above that distance you can only "tag" a player (hit to the body which won't cause death or knock down), so most likely he will just hide/run away. With x9 scope you will see the target better, but still above 500m it'll make zero changes, meanwhile acog 6x provides enough of magnification within these 500m. I'm not defending this decision, just saying it is logical here (as you won't be able to do anything above 500m, unless a headshot, but not everybody is that lucky). I thought they going to release .338 variant of SV (as they mentioned "exotic"), so it would cover 500m+ distance. But the reality is completely different, we got SV98 limited by 7.64x54 ammo power (capabilities) and limited by acog x6. Description say it has the best precision, but compared to SVD with PSO or M14 with acog x6 it does not look good at all. The model of a gun itsef is amazing, but that is it. 1.26 is going to be late this year (fall) and most likely the last update of the year, so our best hopes for 1.27 (first update of 2025), but with the same probability this problem can be left unsolved till the end of game support. Sure there are tons of M200, L96 and M82/M107 on modded servers, but I'd really like to finally see some heavy sniper rifles in vanilla, even no mag 1 bullet bolt action, but capable kill players on 800m+.

On the topic of "bug". Gas stations "poshol" (on the map of Livonia) work correctly. Livonia brand refills - do not work since patch 1.25

As of today (28.5.2024) batch of fixes was delivered onto public including further graphics settings, primary auto-set graphics quality option and others. Resolution change should be fully possible (unless game is set to windowed mode).
Should be resolved now.
I must note this was on a Livonia Community Server.

Both of these issues have been reported previously and are being worked on. Please do not put multiple issues into one ticket.

Without a .mdmp file we unfortunately do not have much to go off. However you could try disabling the mods one by one to isolate the faulty mod.

That is fixed now, but when I move the vehicle infront so it is back inside the cone, it never hits.

I know the devs are aware of this issue and was hoping this would be resolved by the time the update rolled out. This leads me to believe that it is a deliberate decision by the devs to restrict the capabilities of the new rifle. It is unclear why this level of incompetence is on display, the community and myself especially would like any clarification. Failure of clarification can only lead me to believe this as a case of developer negligence. The state of long-range sniping is abysmal.

Server kicks and client crashes are two separate issues. The kicks have nothing to do with the crash issue for which you have provided the crash dump files. The error code is related to your network timing out. Therefore there could be an issue on your network. Unfortunately there is nothing much I can suggest at the moment. Also is this occurring only on a specific server? Do any other servers work for you?

I have done a clean install of the Nvidia drivers and still getting kicked off after 20 seconds, mostly with a 0x00040004 error code, My internet connection is fine and I have had no issue logging on prior to this weekend.
This is frustrating as Dayz is why I bought a PC, the PS5 version is lame in comparison.

i think you ment to say encounter. Unfortunately, a lot of people are teaming in encounters on PC. there are already 6 or 8 ppl doing it constantly :(
i can play again after 2 full computer resets, multiple sfc scans in cmd, repairing net frame work, redownloading/verifying the game more times than i can count, deleting temp and local app data for arma 3 and bohemia interactive, deleting battle eye and re verifying yada yad, im not sure which one of these worked as the game decided to finally launch the launcher randomly after giving up for a day or so
i would love to see more variety in vehicles especially tied into rank. US has a pretty good advantage in lower end vehicles right now. Humvee's are easy to drive and hold max of 300 supply in the covered version, while they do chug gas that is hardly a concern to most use cases or to those who can source it. Soviets don't really have an equivalent and are stuck with using the UAZ/UAZ-452 Ambulance for everything short of truck sized actions. Even getting a simple Reskin of the UAZ-452 or as it's affectionately known as "Bukhanka" into a general transport variation would be great. They are used for just about everything.

In fact, several settings are not saving in the experimental version. In addition to the fact previously reported, it is also possible to see, for example, that my options are not recorded. When the game is closed and then launched, the settings return to default.
