They could add the OPTION for it. I personally love it, whatever gibberish they are speaking :D. But I can see it as a problem for somebody from English speaking countries. I hate any kind of voiceovers in TV and movies, it just breaks the immersion
I was really disappointed when I first fired the gun of the Slammer and Varsuk. I must say, Arma 3 hasn't yet disappointed me as much with anything. These were some incredibly puny and shit explosions. I really hope it is just a placeholder. But unlikely, since launch is just a week away
No, I believe they fixed it along the way.
EDIT: Tried to find the changelog entry, but couldn't. Maybe I'm wrong
What's the use for it? You can do it with diving equipment.
A bit low-poly, yes, but not a game-breaker. Things like this help keep the performance good, while not sacrificing anything important.
Your ticket gets ignored if you don't do it right and write relevant information
GeneralScott, you being ironic or what? And no, it wouldn't have moved even by little in real life. If it did, the recoil would rip half your body up.
Have you driven a car in the dark? It's pretty much what you wrote in your description
That mod is awesome, Kol9yN. The implementation is near perfect. When are you releasing and where can I download it?
Very good ticket. And some of you aren't familiar with the fact that cars don't start moving before their engine has properly started. They start moving before the ignition sound in arma. Automatic or not, these are internal combustion engines, they need to rev up.
Ummm, the commander I guess? Arma is mainly a multiplayer game, so yeaah... a commander
Yay, It's Christmas!!! I want a firetruck!
Haha, dude, this should be left for modders ;) It would be cool, but I think I have to downvote
Yeah, Peter, that is a very bad explanation on your part. I'm completely on Killzone's side. What is the secret to using it? IRL you can look at your target and then adjust your mortar according to what you see. The men who use mortars aren't locked to hugging it and staring at the sky. Please explain.
3rd person should be for keeping an eye on your surrounding. At the moment, it is useless for everything except looking at the clouds
Your arguments are very good. There isn't really any reason for that much sway. /upvoted
What? Do you mean like sticking your head out the window or....?
Arma's engine is not built for this, it's hard to implement and not that important. Of course it would be cool and nice, but yeah...there are more important things unsolved
If they decide to implement functional interiors in armored vehicles, then this could be solved with a rear-view camera
@Grinya While that is true, the reporter talks about very rough terrain and not a lot of bobbing. Your neck isn't as good as a steadycam. A slight shaking would give a more "authentic" feel.
Very nice suggestion. Would make you really feel like a part of a tank team. /upvoted
Exactly. This is the way to go with the "female infantry soldier" problem. If you really want a female character, you can make her. Don't have to stuff it down the mouth of everybody else. /upvoted
The factions don't get updates equally, it's just a matter of time when they'll add it. Upvoted anyway
Haha, I wasn't being serious. Of course it is stupid :D

Don't forget, this is the future. By 2035, Iran has been conquered by US and is now the 51st state. But they started an uprising. That's why they speak with an american accent. Everything has an explanation, see?
Done

That Merkava is a beast of a tank :). I do agree with you, some variation should be added and made a bit louder. Upvoted
They added that in the latest dev. Ohhhh, that clanking noise. Gives me shivers just thinking of it ;)
Maybe make the ignition sound a bit longer and add a small chance that the engine doesn't start on the first try.
Makes sense. The engine got damaged only in deep water. They should now add a snorkel that pops up when you enter deep water
Just wanted to report this also. However, when I drove the Panther into the water, the engine got damaged after some time and I got force ejected. Everything else was intact. Pretty funny to see the tracks on the seafloor
EDIT: Ahh, saw you had the same thing in your video ;)
Haha, yes it is. I have no problems with the speed anymore, now it feels really good. Guess I have to downvote my own ticket ;)
Yeah, I just want a confirmation from the devs, that this is a feature. Otherwise I'll just become obsessed with it :D. The IFV are buggy and unfinished at this time, so the top speed may also be wrong.
@ProGamer Yes, but the problem for me shows up on high speeds. I don't really know that much about driving tracked vehicles, but can you make really sharp turns on speeds exceeding 60 kmph? Like 180 degrees with a really small turn radius. It just doesn't feel realistic like the Panther does :/
70 with a Panther on dirt? I manage only 60 on paved roads.
Yeah, the balancing isn't really important here. But it surely shouldn't be as fast as the Marder and Marshall
Maybe vehicle suspension, tire or chassis damage when you drive too fast downhill. Or somehow limit the speed artificially when going downhill. 1.st one is better and more realistic
All the vehicles already only inch up a slight incline on dirt. Coming down is another matter altogether.

I have been to South of France, Italy 2x, Croatia 3x, Albania and Crimea(not mediterranean, I know) and that's pretty much how they sound. You say you that you have been in france too, but don't remember them like that? Sorry mate, but you should check you hearing then. Everyone I know, that has been there, remember it like that. /downvoted a thousand times
+1 AD2001 I didn't even notice the sound before I saw this ticket. It just felt natural. But I do agree with DrHat (somewhat). The sound shouldn't be everywhere and must be more dynamic( like near trees or patches of grass). But when you stand IRL 10-20 m away from crickets-cicada's, whatever they are, your ears will bleed! It wouldn't be fair for other players if they included a slider.
@cyrilator "cliché"? The cicada's are everywhere in the mediterranean. And they are freaking loud. If they add the option for disabling or tuning it down, it would break the athmosphere. I have thought previously that they should make it louder. Brings back memories from my vacations there.
To serve on the frontline you need the physical strength to match. These female models should then be quite manly (if you are GoT fan, picture Breanne). Women are physically weaker, that's simple biology not sexism. The supports, maybe, but not frontline infantry squad. PS: most of those pictures don't help to prove your point at all. You just don't put on make-up before you go to battle.
