Just wanted to report this also. However, when I drove the Panther into the water, the engine got damaged after some time and I got force ejected. Everything else was intact. Pretty funny to see the tracks on the seafloor
EDIT: Ahh, saw you had the same thing in your video ;)

Not bad, actually, because Tanks should be able to traverse water when submerged, using snorkels (Afaik most soviet Tanks and many western ones such as the leopards are able to dive trough water up to 4 meters deep.).

I think this isn´t a bug, but just a non-adjusted feature.

Makes sense. The engine got damaged only in deep water. They should now add a snorkel that pops up when you enter deep water

When you stay a lot of time underwater your engine become broken.
Actually some tanks may submerge and move underwater using special devices or for short time may without them.But I prefer to instant engine damaga to red in this situations.

It doesn't matter how long you stay underwater, it matters how deep you go
