I hope this is not a deliberate change but only a bug and will be fixed as soon as possible. Head tracking is not something that should be tempered with.

Haven't happened in a while. Can be considered fixed. Was probably fixed in one of the later patches.
Yes please. It has always been a nuisance. I put my important items in the hotbar, and sometimes change clothing with new ones and each time I have to drag them again.
I am sure this is already planned but still a good report.
As mentioned in the original post, I receive no error whatsoever. It is just a sudden return to desktop. No error messages.
There is no such thing as "poorly optimized for x model card."
Poorly optimized for AMD or NVIDIA cards is understandable to some degree as they operate under different architecture models and drivers but, a game is not optimized per gpu model.
Your friend probably has someting wrong with his/her computer, maybe software and/or hardware related. It might even be a faulty hardware but developers have nothing to do about this.
If it runs better on a lower end graphics card as you say, then there is definitely something wrong with your friend's laptop. Better check it thoroughly.
True. Tried the same today and got the same warning.
This is definitely a game-breaking bug. Should be resolved asap!
Set your shadowzdistance to 250 in your profile config file in documents/dayz folder. This fixes the problem ;)
This is related to memory leak problem most players has. Game starts at 1.5gb ram usage and crashed at 2.59gb ram usage. A hotfix on the way and this problem is known to developers already. We only need a bit patience.
I'm guessing you don't check official forums or the feedback page itself. This issue has been posted many times, acknowledged by developers and they are working on a fix to be released in a few days.
In short, it's a memory leak and for most users it is fixed by adding -maxMem=2047 launch parameter.
Give it a shot and wait for the hotfix, there is nothing else that can be done for now.
Thanks. If I come across any other issues regarding Bor, I'll add them here ;) Keep up the good work.
There is also a house which has a fence going through it. You can see the screenshot from the link below.

Yes sir, that would be me :D
Some say I'm BlueAdams, some say Blues Adams, I'm not even sure myself:D
@Simon, can you try with different shadow quality settings please? Mine was set to Very High in the video. HDR quality was set to Low.
Fixed in 0.54
Edit: Seems like people are still having this problem. So please don't mark the report as fixed.
Can you check your config .ini file and see what your shadowzdistance value is? You should set to 250 for a smooth visual on ponds. As I can't see the screenshots, I'm not certain as to what your problem is but, you might give it a shot.
This issue is already known by producers and was written in the latest patch notes. It means they are working on it. As of now, there is nothing more we can do.
The same bug is reported for like 50 times already, please use the search function, it makes admins' life a lot easier.
Your problem is that you're freezing. In the last patch, heat doesn't go up easily. Even when you are next to heat, you gain 0.1 degree centigrade heat per 30 seconds or so. So make a fire, sit by it and have patience ;)
I've recorded this just an hour ago. Came across a chicken. Thought you would like to see ;)
Chicken are in the game as well but they spawn in very limited spots and as they can't outrun players and zombies, they get killed by the zeds most of the time.
It is not a bug, it is done so that you don't accidentaly start searching for kindlings or stones in the middle of a firefight. You could start searching for kindling instead of reloading your gun and what not.
If you build a fire indoors, it doesn't warm you up. You have to be out in the open.
Skinning is bugged right now, yes, there are many bugs reported about it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Making three bug reports that are totally unrelated to each other, however, is not a good way of reporting bugs. Please post each one accordingly.
Yes, some items/aspects of the game are still not included in persistance like vehicles, locked doors, snare traps etc. It was a bad surprise for me, too.
I put one snare trap near a water source (which felt clever to me) went to loot a few buildings and when I came back, there was a rabbit caught. It took like 15 minutes.
When you check the trap, if the wire is curved, it means the rabbit got away. Check this video out ;)
I hope we'll have a chance to craft ropes in the future, but for now you can craft a snare trap, catch a rabbit with it, gut the rabbit and use it's gut as a rope to craft ashwood bow. It's a long process but it's your only choice to obtain an improvised rope for now.
This is definitely needed to keep the survival aspect of DayZ alive. What's the point of hunting, placing traps, cooking etc. while you can simply find 10 cans of food after looting 4-5 buildings.
Did you edit any settings in config.ini like scenecomplexity or visibility? Because this might be the problem. Could you check it and report back please?
As we can craft stone knife in 0.52 now, I wanted to play as a hermit and the imbalance in bow and arrow is really frustrating. I support every suggestion made maybe except quiver taking up melee slot. It would still be a huge problem for bow users.
Isn't game-breaking, but still a bug and has to be fixed ;)
Stable patch 0.52 and the issue still continues. Please fix this.
