Hi,
I've recently found out that, when you wear a raincoat, it keeps your upperbody dry as it is water resistant, but the thing is, no other cloth you wear gets wet as well. Bandana, hat, shoes, pants, they all remain dry even if you stay under rain for hours.
Any other clothing (apart from military gears, as I've never tried those) make other clothing react as they should. For example, when I wear bomber jacket, the jacket remains dry under rain, but my boonie hat, pants, gloves and shoes get wet as they should.
I don't believe that's a feature of raincoat as it's not logical at all. I want to know if you know about this and working on water proof pants, shoes and any other clothing as well.
