Hi,
Together with 0.52 stable branch there is a focus on survival aspect of the game and the hermit play style. I've tried surviving depending only on natural resources and it was really exciting. However, there are several problems that can be easily fixed.
1- Bow has really low range. A bow, no matter how primal, doesn't have a range of mere 10 meters. Even at 10 meters, arrow drops so much I have to aim about an inch higher to compensate for it. Either by implementing an upgrade to bows like sinewing it using tendons from deers would greatly enhance the survival aspect of the game.
2- Arrow stacks take too much space. A stack of 5 arrows take 2 slots. Thinking that the biggest craftable backpack is 25 slots, even having 20 arrows would fill too much space in inventory. Either make arrows stackable by 10-15 or make a quiver that can store 30 arrows in it (just like a magazine for weapons) so that people will tend to use improvised bows more.
