Description

Every time I try to launch the game it gives me this error code and before the new update it gave me a similar crash except saying "The instruction at 0x00cf2ea6 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written.
Things i have already tried:
Launching steam in admin mode
Dayz in admin mode
uninstalling Dayz (2 times)
verifying files on steam (6 times)
downloading c++ packs (2010 and 2013)
checking for data execution prevention

All my video drivers are up to date and I don't know how to optimize my game settings with AMD.

I had the same problem. I updated steam and it seems to work now.

My steam is up to date though.

Same thing with me only it will allow me to play the game for a random amount of time. sometimes 45 minutes. sometimes 3. Wicked Frusterating as I have never had it happen until .54 went stable. see 0022198

I have this problem too , when i playa about 30-40 minutes it crashed Error says : The memory could not be written or read .... Now i reinstalling the game so i will see ... My PC Specs : Intel Core i5 4460 3.2 GHz, Gainward GTX 770 Golden Sample 1176 MHz , 8 GB RAM

I'm guessing you don't check official forums or the feedback page itself. This issue has been posted many times, acknowledged by developers and they are working on a fix to be released in a few days.

In short, it's a memory leak and for most users it is fixed by adding -maxMem=2047 launch parameter.

Give it a shot and wait for the hotfix, there is nothing else that can be done for now.

The Hotfix did not fix my game and it still persists.

I have the same issue. Really looking forward to a permanent solution!

THE ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED
BattlEye helped me resolve this issue by removing "G:\Steam\IPHLPAPI.dll" I repeat delete the IPHLPAPI.dll file in your Steam file to resolve the issue!

I can confirm this, works just fine now :-)
