Recognized that when I was trying to reignit a fireplace equipped with 5 kindlings with matches. The message states that kindlings are missing although it's the paper/book/rag/bandage.
Im not sure if it happens with newly built fireplaces.

I guess his point is that the message should be something like "Missing material to start fire" rather than showing the kindling message though kindlings are the only thing actually NOT missing.

You are absolutely right Johnny. A message like "Missing material to start fire" seems to be best. I don't think you need to tell exactly what's missing. People should use their brain - as long as it's functional.
Zyryanoff, no offence! I don't think you weren't using yours. Actually I didn't declare my thought clearly enough. I rather thought of use your character's brain as long as he/she lives. Puhh, I nearly droped a clanger.

Hello zimtente.
The issue has been fixed internally by renaming the search for kindling action. Rags/book/bandage and paper are now considered as "kindling material" for igniting the fireplace. The fix should take effect on Steam soon.
