@Geez I think the 18 points of damage for the .22 rounds is fine, because six body shots to kill player is reasonable for such a weak round. And it already kills player in one shot to head(brain).

Tried on a Chernarus DE official server = same issue.

Problem still happening today (already twice) even after reinstalling Steam and Dayz.

Also i checked outgoing and incoming rules (UDP/TCP) for every .exe again.

It's been a while but I tested with a fresh wiped server with only my mod I believe.

I suggest you check what is returned when you want to read the string. I would imagine that that will be also damaged.

I will check this weekend.

Handbrake is something we would like to implement sometime in the future, however, there is currently no ETA nor information I can share about it. As for the CarController class, it does not work unless there is a player character sitting in the vehicle. However, if the CarController does not work even with player character sitting in the vehicle, then please let us know.

They need a system to restore characters or certain grids or parts of the servers. Otherwise it's a lost cause.

I can't even tell you how bad i've gotten hacked lately. last time, i got sniped soundlessly sprinting through the woods with a campfire in my hands that I had been fiddling with for like 5 minutes. Not sure what kind of sniper waits until you are sprinting to go for the headshot. RIght after this, upon returning to a nearby stash of mine that I had just been at days ago, I discovered that all 10 crates of mine had been found and dug up.

We are having the same problem. We are playing on official servers, DE (Persistent) and we are dying randomly in buildings, in the woods, anywhere. There is no player around to shoot us, we are sure about that. I wonder if this is a bug or hackers dominating the game again?

Olga's are spawning in on Ada spawn points and if you approach and interact with the car it has the potential to kill your character. I had one character killed as soon as I got inside to check the fuel level. The car will flip into the air and barrel roll if you remove a wheel from it. I've had this happen on 3 separate occasions. @Geez this bug appears not only with fire barrel, but with standard barrel too.
I saw many times, in rainy weather - barrels keep making "open" sound over and over again.
So it very easy to find barrel in the city, or in the forest, so you can hear it very loud

Does this occur on vanilla non modded version of the game or modded version only? And are all your drivers / os up to date? Also you could try doing a clean install of all drivers in case some file got corrupted.

The mod now has close to 200k subscribers. This should emphasize the importance of fixing this issue which has been around for way too long. With 1.10 update it was made actually again worse because I cannot override just a couple scripts, I have to override the whole ItemBase folder. This means any updates from DayZ in that folder I must update mine as well...
